Camp

**I KINDA RUSHED THIS CHAPTER OMG SORRY IF IT SUCKS**

I took my shoes off and shut the door.

"Hun is that you?" my mom yelled from across the house.

"Yeah mom it's me" I said.

"Ah sweetie" my mom said as she walked down the hallway towards me.

"Come here" my mom said as she squeezed me tight with a huge smile.

"I made dinner if you want any. It's lasagna." my mom said as she held my shoulders.

"Mom you know I hate lasagna" I said as I raised my eyebrows.

"Oh that's right" my mom said as she walked away into the kitchen.

"Well there's still some mixed veggies left in the oven I you want any" my mom said.

"No mom I'm fine, I'm not really hungry" I said as I walked into my room.

"Alright hun" my mom yelled from the kitchen.

I closed my door behind me and felt a few buzzes from my pocket.

I took out my phone to see that Sean already made a group chat with everyone.

"Hey" I texted to the chat.

A buzz came in and both Nicole and Sean replied a "Hi" back.

"So did you guys find any camps?" I said.

"Well I did find one in Lincoln" Nicole texted.

"Is that too far from Lexington you think?" I texted back.

"Nah it's fine let's do it!" Sean texted.

"Hey what did I miss" Wil texted.

"I think we found a camp!! :) " I texted.

"What type of camp is it?" Wil asked.

"It says it's a community service type camp idk really" Nicole said.

"Well that's okay right?" I said.

"What will our parents say about this camp omg" Wil texted.

"I'll just explain to my parents that the group wanted to go to a camp for our last summer & wanted to help out?" I said.

"Yeah sure whatever" Wil said.

"Yeah ok lol" Sean said.

"Ok, everyone go to your parents right now and ask them about the camp." I said.

"Nicole, send us the link to the website you found the camp thing at" I said.

"Ok" Nicole said.

"Ah shit I hope this works guys" I said uneasy.

"Don't worry about it" Sean said.

"Mom?" I yelled through my bedroom door.

"Yeah?" My mom yelled back.

"Can you come here for a sec?" I said with my heart rate rising.

A couple seconds later my bedroom door swings open with my mom standing there.

"Yeah?" My mom said.

"Well- Wil, Nicole, Corey, Sean, and I wanted to all go to a camp together for our last summer together.

My mom raised her eyebrow.

"Aw mom please!" I said

"Why spring the news on me now?" My mom questioned.
