Chapter 8 with A/N

Hi, the start of my classes start next next week so I decided to update this book already while I'm still in my summer break. (I only have 1 week left)

Y/N pov:

I closed my books and notes as I looked up at the clock in my room. 8:47PM 'Huh, so I've been studying for more than 3 hours...' I stood up and cleaned up my table ready to go downstairs to eat dinner.

After I cleaned up my table, I walked towards my bedroom door and reached for the door handle. But before I could even touch the door handle, my phone buzzed on my table which caught my attention and went back to the table and picked up my phone.

"Guys, wanna go to the carnival tomorrow? It's Saturday tomorrow and there won't be any exams until next month anyway." Nezuko

I tapped on the notification and replied; "Sure why not? I could use some break."

"Nice, Y/N's coming." - Nezuko

"Alright" - Genya

I smiled as I read the replies and returned my phone on the table and went downstairs for dinner.

~The Next Day, at the Carnival~

Y/N pov:

I looked over the sea of people as I entered the carnival while trying to find for Genya and Nezuko. "Y/N! Over here!" I heard the familiar energetic voice of Nezuko and I turned around and saw her with Genya by the hotdog stand.

"Hey guys!" I greeted and walked over to where they were standing. "You want some?" Genya offered as he reached out his hand with the hotdog in it.

"Sure, thanks." I replied and took the hotdog from him and ate it. "So, what do you guys wanna do first?" I asked while eating the hotdog.

"I was thinking of some rides first then go to the arcades?" Genya suggested. "Wow, games immediately after rides?" Nezuko teased. "I'm fine with it." I replied.

"So which ride first?" I asked the two. We immediately looked around trying to find a good first ride. "Ooh! What about the bumper karts?" Nezuko excitedly suggested while pointing at the direction of the ride.

"Sure, why not?" Me and Genya smiled and replied at the same time.

~Time skip, inside the bumper kart ride~

Y/N pov:

Once we got into our respective karts, we immediately started chasing each other down while trying to avoid the other people. As I was trying to look for Genya in order to bump him, someone accidentally bumped into my kart.

"Sorry- Y/N?" When I heard my name from the person who bumped into me, I immediately turned to the person and saw none other than one of the Tokito twins.

"Tokito? You're here? Wait- which twin are you?" I asked surprised at the fact that one of the twins is here and also a bit embarrassed for still not knowing which twin is which despite being friends with them for quite a while now.

"Oh I'm Yui-" Just as he was about to tell which twin he was, we were both jerked to the side as someone quite harshly bumped into him followed by another familiar voice. "I got you, Yui!"

I looked at the one who bumped us and it's none other the other twin, which I have confirmed to be Muichiro. Muichiro then looked at me and his face formed a surprised look.

"Y/N? You're here?" He asked. "Yeah. Well, this is quite a coincidence." I replied laughing a little. "This day can't get any better, I guess." Yuichiro smiled.

Suddenly, two other karts bumped into mine, I looked and saw Genya and Nezuko smiling at me and laughing. Once the two calmed down, they finally noticed the twins.

Genya and Nezuko looked at the twins with a surprised expression but Nezuko immediately smiled. "You guys are here too? This day can't get any better can it?" Nezuko exclaimed. "Yeah, it can't." Genya grumbled.

"Why so grumpy? The more people there is, the more fun there will be!" Nezuko exclaimed back. Genya simply huffed and looked away. "Why don't you two join us?" Nezuko invited the twins.

The twins gave each other a look then turned to us and replied; "Sure, why not?"

We ended up chasing and bumping each other the rest of the time. (More like the twins chasing after Y/N)

Hey guys, I finally updated this book (though it's more of a filler chapter in all honesty). I didn't want to worry and stress myself more about writing chapters next week so I decided to update it now even if the content is not much.

I'm seriously regretting on deciding to write a book (this and the other 2) because I realized that I don't really have time to write because of my school (the school that I study in has very high standards and if I'm not able to keep up with my grades, I'd get kicked out) and I am also losing motivation.

I might discontinue the two other books and end this book with a not very satisfying ending/plot (I was brainstorming ideas while writing this entire chapter) and the entire plot may also just seem rushed.

And if you're going to ask: "Why did you write a book then?" It's because I wanted to write for fun and satisfy my own imagination. I knew that it won't be easy writing a book but I couldn't really resist the urge to write back then and ended up writing.
