It was a beautiful place to be sure. She knew now, there were tunnels all throughout the Opera House even though the plans of the original build would never reveal them. He built this. He was the rightful owner of this entire outfit yet he would never let it be known to the populace. This much he told her. Through the whole tour of his grand living space, he was gentle, kind, almost loving towards her. Regarding her with absolute respect. Of course he did. Would he do anything else, this man who is responsible for her career?

During the entirety of her stay with the Opera House he alone was the reason she didn't sink into that despair that threatened her when her father passed. He alone was the lighthouse in her life, guiding her through the tempest of her pain, taking her emotion and pouring it into constructive creativity. He found her voice for her, molded and shaped it into the miracle that it was. Of course he would be nothing more than adoring to her. She listens to his words.

She finds herself entranced by his graceful gestures. His arms sweep above his head in elegant gestures as he motions to various architectural wonders he himself made possible. In his sleeping area, a large black swan bed with lace curtains surrounded by even more candles takes her breath away. He tells her that the bed was made for her. For this night, for the rest of the nights she chooses to remain with him. She is exhausted. The night's wonders have had her feeling exalted, amazed but seeing this bed with the silken cushions, thick comforters and inviting atmosphere, she realizes just how drained all of this emotion has left her.

Gently he takes her hand for not the first time this night and leads her to her destination. He pulls back the covers and as she lays down he gently tucks her in. Caressing her face once more ever so gently, he bids her goodnight. He refrains from doing what he wants most... a kiss. Everything this night has been beyond his expectations and with his delicate heart's desire at ease with him, he doesn't want to frighten her, or push her by offending her. She watches him walk away before she closes her eyes and slips into the most peaceful sleep she's had in many, many years.
