Wriothesley's POV:

Patrolling around Meropide was quite boring, yet the sudden interesting comments yelled from prisoners was quite intriguing.

Everything was doing fine lately.

To the point it was weird.

Too weird. .

I decided on going to the surface for a bit.

It wouldn't hurt right?

Just to leave for while?

At last my subordinates would take care of anything right?

At least I think so.

I walked around the surface now.

The sky was dark blue and clear.

The rumors of a hydro dragon controlling the weather spread.

I thought that this rumor was pretty convincing as it would rain once in a while.

But it always seemed as Neuvillette was overwhelmed it would rain.

But what am I thinking? Neuvillette couldn't be the hydro dragon.

Speaking of Neuvillette. . .

"Monsieur."

"Ah? Duke Wriothesley."

"What are you doing out here?" I mumble.

It's like 12:54pm, how is he still awake?

And why is he here?

"I finished my work so I reckoned I could take a breather. " He replied calmly.

It annoyed me so much.

He was calm. Too calm.

"Yeah right. " I snarled underneath my breath.

"Is something up, Duke?"

"What do you think, Monsieur?" I quickly forced a smile.

"I'm not stupid." He let out a low growl.

I widened my eyes but. .

"Oh well it looks like you are." I slapped my hand on my mouth, "Monsieur!! I didn't mean-"

"Duke Wriothesley." He said in a serious tone. Most serious I've every heard him.

"F*ck."

"DUKE WRIOTHESLEY!" He yelled. I did not expect that.

At all.

I took a few steps backwards, almost falling into the fountain.

"Uhhm. ." I murmured.

"Would you like to explain, Duke." He attempted to keep his cool.

"I swear I didn't mean it, Monsieur Neuvillette. You are quite the opposite of stupid and I sincerely did not mean to called you stupid." I tried my best to be apologetic yet in my mind I thought what I had said was true.

Suddenly he looked as he was boiling.

"Are you alright, Monsieur?" I asked, politely.

"No. . Come with me." He said, awfully worried.

"Now would be perfect." He snarled, impatiently. He started to walk away.

"Yes! Of-. . Of course!" I quickly ran after him.

He lead me to a house?

"What is this, Monsieur?" I muttered.

"My home. Duke, come in." He walked in and held the door for me.

I hesitated but walked in anyhow.

"So what do you want?" I questioned.

"Well as you could see I was heating up and I reckon it's way too late for you to go back to Meropide." He told me.

"WHAT-!!?" I bellowed, "Sorry. . Sorry. . I could still walk back to my apartment?-" I was concerned. Especially with staying with The ludex.

"No. You cannot walk back now." He replied.

So I seriously had to stay with this Self-entitled idiot!

"Where-" I was cut off by his stern voice.

"The guest room. And before you asked, I don't mind."

"But why'd you bring me here in the first place?"

"right back to that. I need you to calm me down."

Calm you down!? How am I of all people going to calm down Monsieur Neuvillette!?

I don't even think I'm calm Myself!

"Wh- why?"

"I recommend you don't find out."

"But what if I wanna?" I teased the ludex, smirking.

"I- I'm sure you do not-"

"I'm sure I do." I cut him off.

"Wriothesley you have no idea what you getting yourself into-"

"Then let me know. Also, what happened to 'Duke Wriothesley' ey?" I grinned a toothy grin.

"I prefer to use informal terms in my house. Wriothesley, you cannot tell anyone of this, okay? You're lucky I even trust you." He sighed.

What the. .

His blue stripes came to be horns, scales emerging on certain places, including his cheeks. The rest of his body was covered up so I didn't know if there was more.

And yet again I seemed to be wrong.

"H-Hydro. . Dragon. . . -" I muttered underneath my breath.

"Yes. I am indeed the hydro dragon." He finished my sentence for me.

"Oh wow. . " I couldn't help but stare as a tail emerged.

"So you happy? Wriothesley?"

"Huh?" I snapped out of my trance, "Oh uhm- yeah!"

"You didn't even know what I said, did you?" He sighed.

"Sorry it's just- uhm. . " I stuttered, "God damn. . He's beautiful. . . " I muttered.

"You know dragons have excellent hearing right?"

And as soon as he said that a blush slid onto my cheeks, that was so embarrassing I felt as I was about to faint.

"Wriothesley? Are you okay? You seem pretty warm?" He pressed a hand on my forehead.

And of course he didn't know what this was. He's been here for 500 yet he's so innocent?

"What is that red on your face?"

And I did not have the guts to tell him.

"Nothing, Monsieur!" I quickly replied and turned my head.

"Please. Just call me Neuvillette."

"Then uhm. . Nothing, Ne-Neuvillette." I  said, nervously.

"Just go to bed, Wriothesley. You seem stressed."

"Alright Monsi-. . Neuvillette. . " I walked off to the room and layed down.

Yet all I could think off.

Was him.
