Yoongi breathed out heavily, and sat down again on the throne.
"Tami," he murmured, still staring at the closed oak doors. "Jiminie, I... come here."
The two of us moved closer to him, and I let out a small squeak of astonishment as Yoongi was suddenly pulling us between his legs, as close to his body as possible. A hand moved to grasp my chin and tilt my face up to look at him.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
I bit my lip nervously.
"I'm fine," my response was almost automatic.
"What Hoseok said... was it true? Did you tell him you feel that way?"
"What? No!" I retorted. "Of course not! I guess he just... I don't know, hyung. Can I be honest?"
"Of course, baby," he murmured.
"Sometimes... sometimes I feel like you're just playing with me. Because I constantly want more than what I have with you. But at the same time, I don't want it if you're not ready to give it. Am I being impatient?"
Yoongi sighed, and rested his forehead against mine.
"No, Tami. That's only human."
The green of his eyes was so vivid up this close, and he seemed to be searching my own eyes for something. Beside us, Jimin began to smooth his hands down our arms, trying to offer comfort in the best way he could. Eventually, Yoongi pulled away to look between the two of us.
"I wish to ask you both something, will you answer me honestly?"
We nodded wordlessly.
"Are you in love with me?" He spoke softly.
I could never have anticipated such a bold question, and I paused, considering my answer. In reality, I already knew what my response would be. Yoongi waited for it patiently, bringing one of my hands to his lips and kissing the inside of my wrist softly, his eyelashes fluttering briefly, green emeralds remaining focused on my expression.
"Of course I'm in love with you," I sighed, although my heart was pounding. "Right now? That's the only thing I'm sure of."
Yoongi nodded, just barely, before turning to look at Jimin, who was pouting softly.
"I love you, hyung. So much, you must know this," he said.
Yoongi hummed.
"Would you ever betray me, given the opportunity?"
Jimin's eyes widened.
"Never, hyung!"
"What kind of question is that?" I responded. "Of course not!"
"Thank you," Yoongi stated, and suddenly I felt his lips pressing to the crown of my head. I was unable to prevent myself from melting into his touch, before he moved to Jimin, ever conscious of treating us as equals before him.
