With newfound excitement, they trailed the shadows, which led them to a hidden courtyard. In the center, a beautiful fountain flowed, its waters reflecting the light in a peculiar pattern.
Applejack gasped. "Rarity, the water's reflection shows a word: 'EQUINIA'!"
Rarity's eyes widened. "That's the name of the ancient pony who founded Canterlot! Maybe the answer lies in her history?"
