Jisung had always walked the school hallways with a sense of dread. For as long as he could remember, Haneul had singled him out. The taunts, the shoves, and the cruel laughter were constants in his life. Jisung had learned to keep his head down, to stay quiet, and to bear it alone. He never told his friends about the bullying; he didn’t want them to worry, and he feared Haneul’s retaliation.
On this particular day, Jisung was walking to class when he noticed hanuel leaning against his locker .
"Well, well, look who it is," Haneul sneered, pushing off the wall and blocking Jisung's path. "Haven't you learned to avoid me yet?"
Jisung's heart pounded. He glanced around. Haneul's cronies snickered behind him, enjoying the show.
Haneul stepped closer, his voice low and menacing. "You think you're too good to talk to me? Answer me, Jisung."
Jisung tried to find his voice, but fear choked him. Haneul shoved him, and Jisung stumbled, hitting the lockers hard. Pain shot through his shoulder, but he bit back a cry.
"Pathetic," Haneul said, laughing. "You're so weak."
Just as Haneul reached out to shove him again, a new voice cut through the tension. "Hey, Haneul! Back off!"
Minho's voice echoed in the hallway, and Jisung looked up, surprised. Minho was striding toward them, his eyes blazing with anger.
Haneul turned, his smirk faltering. "What do you want, Minho?" he spat, trying to sound tough.
Minho didn't stop until he was right in front of Haneul. "Leave him alone," he said, his voice low and dangerous. "Touch him again, and you'll be begging on your knees to seek mercy."
Haneul blinked, clearly taken aback. He glanced at his friends, then back at Minho. "This isn't over," he muttered, trying to save face as he backed away.
Minho watched Haneul disappear around the corner before turning to Jisung. His expression softened with concern. "Are you okay?" he asked gently.
Jisung nodded, though his voice shook. "I think so. Thank you, Minho."
Minho placed a comforting hand on Jisung's shoulder. "You don't have to go through this alone," he said, his voice steady and reassuring. "I'm here for you now."
Jisung felt a mixture of relief and gratitude. For the first time, he had feeling that he can rely on someone for this. He looked up at Minho, feeling the weight of his fear begin to lift. "I was so scared," Jisung admitted quietly.
Minho nodded, understanding. "I know. But you're not alone anymore. You've got me, i'll be here to help"
