Pax smiled with his arms crossed as he watched his once Guardian Jayce Talis get showed off to the Topside by Mrs. Kimmerman. Next to him was Caitlyn who was turned around.

Cassandra: Our most famous protege, Jayce Talis. The Visionary behind the Hexgates, a beacon of tade and prosperity for our great city of progress.

Jayce looked over to him and walked over.

Jayce: Excuse me.

Cassandra: He's a very busy man.

Jayce walked over looked at Pax who smirked and messed with Caitlyn's hat. She turned around and grabbed his hand and twist it a little.

Pax: (Sigh) Every time.

Jayce: (In pain) Cait.

Caitlyn: Serves you right.

Caitlyn saw her mother giving her a look she lets go of Jayce. She frowns and turns around.

Jayce: You still avoiding her?

Pax: Yeah, it's awkward when I have to pick her up.

Caitlyn: We're working.

Jayce: Oh I can see that. I mean there's so much crime to thwart outside your family's tent.

Caitlyn: I can only imagine the strings she pulled to have me posted here.

Jayce: It's your fault really for not following her into a career "More befitting your station"

Caitlyn: (Sigh) She'd do anything to keep me from seeing the real world.

Jayce: Well, at least you'll have front-row seats to the speech.

Caitlyn: Speech?

Pax: Yeah, he's been going over this for a while now. He's giving the big address tonight.

Caitlyn: Hmm. We really have descended to anarchy.

Jayce: (Chuckle) Have fun dealing with drunkards.

He walked off leaving Caitlyn and Pax.

Caitlyn: How are you feeling.

Pax crouches down at a child who tripped helping him up and rubbing his head.

Pax: I'm good tired but good. What about you.

Caitlyn: I'm great. Just don't drink to much and you'll get  a reward.

Pax; (Rolls his eyes and chuckles) Already beat you to it.

They both laugh.

Caitlyn: I'm serious.

Pax: Oh.

Somewhere else

An air balloon was being landed at the docks as workers started to place barrels of Shimmer on it. Cutting to a hand placing a coin pouch into a clipboard. Looking up we see Sevika next to an older (Y/N) who had a mechanical leg.

Sevika: From a friend. Downtown.

(Y/N) heard a noise.

(Y/N): Huh?

People with hoverboard came down and started to fly around the air balloon.

Thug: THE FIRELIGHTS!

Sevika: Kid!

(Y/N) nod and goes down a hatch they then jump down.

(Y/N): Jinx, it's time to work.

They said with a smirk as giggling could be heard. The hatch opens and two firelights jump down. A firelight trips on a wire and the hatch closes.
