Hey guys! Thank you so much for choosing to read my book. It's my first time writing a book so I hope I don't cringe it out.
I will try to publish 3 chapters per week. I am so excited, I have been wanting to publish the story for such a long time- and I am finally doing it.
Okay so let me introduce the characters today.
Serafina Bianchi
The mafia princess (wanna be queen)
Black cat energyIf she were a song, she'd be "Paint the town red" (with blood is silent ofc)
Ambitious, intelligent, and determined to rule. She despises the idea of being married off as a pawn and is driven by the desire to control her own destiny.
She is not your other damsel-in-distress kind of mafia princess. She is the ultimate master mind and ofc our main lead ;)
Marco Romero
The Fiancé Nobody Wants
Living, Breathing Red FlagHe's the guy who looks good on paper but is toxic in reality. Smooth talker, always scheming. Marco's got everyone fooled, but Serafina sees through his act. He’s not just trouble; he’s the storm you never see coming.
He is a high stake gambler- poker and runs an underground poker club along with very powerful companies.
He is the only forced arranged marriage trope we never wanted.
Alexandre (Andre)
The Ride-or-Die Bodyguard
Silent but DeadlyAndre is more than just muscle; he's the ultimate protector with a past tied to Serafina's family.
Always cool, always calm, he's the kind of loyal you can’t buy. Think TALL MASCULINE vibes "I could destroy them if you want, princess" × "golden retriever"
He might be leading my favourite tropes- "bodyguard × princess" but I mean there may be more or less, we never know- it's still a WIP.
Riccardo De Santis
The Shadow VillainMysterious, intense, and impossibly captivating. Riccardo is a puzzle wrapped in shadows, with motives as deep as his eyes. He's the one who watches everyone but hidden.
He is the stalker vibe villain - a definite "stalker × victim" romance vibe- only he got no such intention.
Luca Moretti
He is the academic rival- Serafina swears to hate.
The guy who rides a motorcycle, is covered in tattoos from head to toe and is very competitive, just like Serafina, fueling their academic rivalry.
I mean he is probably a red flag considering he is the only one who gets on her nerves just by existing (mind you, she could be calmly composed when threatened using guns but his presence is unraveling).
He is a chess master, debater and is in competition for the ranks with serafina. He is the son of Andre Moretti- Serafina's father's business lawyer. He is a (mafia) lawyer student.
Serafina wants to get close to him so she can get close to his father, but him being aloof and competitive doesn't exactly complements it, leading to serafina's frustration.
He knows how to push her buttons. It's probably what he plans the entire day, 'cause it works so damn well.
Anyways, for the book, this is not your yet another mafia story where the helpless princess is protected by the knight in the shining Armor. If anything, they probably need some protection from her.
She wouldn't stop for the people in her way- she could manipulate the whole board of games; games where playing fair wasn't taught; and she would sit in the corner and watch every one burn just to get what she wants.
So let me repeat all once again- she isn't some innocent mafia princess- she is the fricking manipulative villain; the villain no one suspects.
Guys I hope you like these characters. Obviously the story has so many more supporting characters, I will introduce them slowly as the story develops.
Hope you stay to read ahead. And also this is my first story, so please leave me comments telling how is this?
And did you enjoy the character descriptions?
And which was your favourite character? Who are you supporting?
