Umeko jumped out of the black Jeep with a nervous smile, looking to her left her smile became more genuine as she caught sight of her friend Liberty Poole. Running over with a bright smile, Umeko caught her friend in a tight hug.
"Why didn't you tell me you were going to be here" she asked with a slight pout on her face, Liberty laughed as she pulled away from the hug happy to see her friend here. "You didn't tell me you were coming either" she replied, the pink haired girl opened her mouth to protest but shut it when she realised the blonde headed girl had a point. Shrugging her shoulders the girls laughed again as they linked hands and started towards the villa entrance.
Once entering the girls made their way to the garden "are we the first ones here", Umeko asked in slight confusion. "We must be, oh look champagne" the other girl gasped as she ran towards the table holding the bottle of alcohol Umeko laughed at her friend's antics as she followed along.
Once the bottle had been popped and both girls glasses were full they made their way over to the sun beds, "I can't believe we are here" Liberty whispered. Umeko smiled "I know right, it feels so weird to be back after so long it's crazy", the two girls laughed. "So what's with the pink, I'm loving it" liberty complimented the girl, Umeko blushed slightly at the compliment from her friend "well, I just recently came back from Japan after visiting my cousins and while I was there they decided to get their hair done so I just thought why not" she explained.
The girls continued on with their chatter when they heard footsteps looming closer, "alright ladies" a voice spoke, the two whipped their heads towards the voice to see two boys walking in. "No, no, no" Liberty repeated quietly to herself as Umeko couldn't help but laugh, "Lib I'm so sorry but this is too funny" the girl laughed as she got up to greet the two boys dragging her friend over to them.
Once the two had approached the girl was swept up into a hug, laughing slightly Umeko pulled away to properly greet the man.
"Hi I'm Umeko it's nice to see you"
"You too Chris it's been ages" she greeted politely before moving on to her friends ex.
"Hi Umeko" he smiled.
"Hi Jake, how have you been" the girls asked.
" I'm good thanks"
The girls brought the two boys over to the table which held the champagne and poured drinks for the two, once all the drinks had been made the four began talking amongst themselves despite the awkward atmosphere between the exes. Their chatter was corrupted when the door opened revealing another two islanders.
"Hi" they shouted, Umeko grinned when she caught sight of her other friend Kaz and made her way towards the girl.
"I can't believe you're here" she said as she pulled the girl into a tight hug.
"I know me neither, you look stunning of course" the dark skinned girl replied as she pulled away from the hug and began to greet the other people. Umeko turned around to greet the other islander despite not knowing who the man was she pulled him into a hug and greeted him .
