Marinette POV:

Dami and I talked together and enjoyed each other for what felt like forever. Alfred brought us hot chocolate, and Dami made me forget about all my worries. I think we both fell asleep for a while, before I got tapped on my shoulder.

I woke up and smiled at the tired face of Barbra Gordon.

She smiled at us.

"Sorry for waking you," she whispered. "But can I fix your arm before it gets worse?"

I nodded as I carefully got off of Damian, trying not to wake him. Then I followed her to a big room. There was a door in the corner that was shut, but she seated me on a chair in another room.

"Thank you," I said as she wrapped my arm.

"Anytime... you know your a miracle worker?"

I frowned. "How so?"

"Well, Damian was in such a bad mood and state before he met you. He was mad at the world, got into fights at school, even wouldn't look away when he had to kill someone. But ever since he met you, he has been so happy and hasn't acted like his old self."

I blushed in awe.

"He helped me out of a dark place too." I said, her eyes looking like she wanted to me to explain more. "This girl, she turned all my friends, the whole school, everyone besides my parents against me. Then Damian came and became my first friend ever since. He brought a light to my life."

She smiled as she finished wrapping my arm. "That's awful. Do you mind if I stitch the cut on your head?"

I nodded.

"What's it like in Paris?" She asked. "Damian told me how amazing it was after you showed him the place."

I smiled. "It's amazing. My parents own the number 1 bakery, so everyone always goes there. But Paris is gorgeous. I showed Damian the Eiffel Tower at night, and he loved it."

Barbra smiled. "Maybe we will all go after Jason heals... I heard he's your biological brother."

I nodded sadly.

"I want to meet him so badly."

"Well when he wakes up, I'll take you and Damian to him."

I smiled. "That would be great. Thank you again."

She nodded and put the needle down. She bandaged my stitches and got up. "Anytime. Now Damian is probably wondering where you are, so let's go."

"Geez Mari, I had no idea where you went." Dami said as we walked in.

Barbra and I smirked at each other.

"She just helped me heal up." I said with a smile and pecked his cheek. "Don't worry though. It's your turn."

He gave me a tired smile and followed his mom.

I sat down and just thought for a while about everything. How going back to school would be, and if Damian would be going with me. My heart felt empty at the thought of him not going to school with me. I also realized that if he didn't, I would continue to have no friends and have an awful life.

I only now had noticed how much Damian really meant to me. He always made me smile for the dumbest reasons, and was so protective it was amazing. I really did love him.

"Mari!" Damian said with excitement as he burst in the room on crutches. "Jason's awake!"

A smile so wide took up my whole face as we ran inside where the closed door was now open. Inside lay a boy with fluffy blue hair in the exact same color as mine, and soft brown eyes like my dad. His face was covered in small stitches and scratches, and a dark blue, purple, and red circle around his left eye.

"Mari?" He said quietly as we walked in.

I nodded and took his hand.

"Hi brother."

He smiled. "I'm so happy I get to meet you."

I smiled and said the same thing back to him.

"How's mom and dad?" He asked.

I gave him a sad smile. "Their good. We are happy your okay."

He nodded.

"Thank you for bringing light into D's life. He was literally a demon before he met you."

Dami cleared his throat. "I liked it better when you were asleep."

Jason looked at me and winked.

I giggled as I placed a hand on Damian's shoulder.

"I'm happy for you two." He said with a smile. "Third wheeling will be a blast. But low key, I can't wait for the future."

Dami and I shared a look, then unanimously said "it'll be amazing."
