Ashlyn was sitting in class when her teacher Mr. Thomas spoke up. "Ok everyone today we are gonna be doing some group work and no you can't be by your self" he says looking at Ashlyn since he wants her to make friends. "I'll be making the groups and it is groups of six." He said and started making groups. "And finally Logan, Taylor, Tyler, Aiden Ben, and Ashlyn" mr Thomas says. Ashlyn looks at them and Aiden is smiling and everyone else seems to be disappointed. They all get into a circle and Aiden is right next to Ashlyn which is confusing her while the others had to argue about it and Taylor had to sit next to her. But Aiden did it no hesitation. "God why did we have to be paired with her.." Tyler whispers to Logan. Ashlyn heard it and tried to ignore it. "Idk man it sucks" Logan whispered back. She put her head down and than felt a hand on her shoulder. "You good?" Aiden whispered. She put her head up confused. "Why are you talking to me??" She asked. "Bc I find you really cool with your sensitive hearing. It could come in handy" Aiden says smiling. Ashlyn was dumfounded. After class everyone agreed to going to a feild trip (yes the field trip happens just not to the sorrel weed house) except Ashlyn. Everyone but Aiden and Ashlyn left. Taylor stood by the door wondering why her best friend hasn't come out yet and is listening. "Come on come to the field trip it's gonna be fun." Aiden says. "why do you want a freak like me to even go aiden." Ashlyn says. "ash I already told you why. I think you're really cool and I wanna be your friend" he said. "You wanna be my....friend?" Taylor heard that and was pissed. She didn't want this freak going to the feild trip with her and her friends. She than heard Ashlyn agree and storm away to her brother and told Tyler what was going on.
