ch.5: Fruitfur

Grayshiver walked out of the warrior den with Violetcloud, her mother and a senior warrior... Fruitpaw followed her... Fruitpaw and Dimpaw had decided to wait until Whisperpaw had gotten her assessment to take theirs and become warriors, but Whisperpaw had failed her assessment.... so none of the cats became warriors...

Grayshiver took Fruitpaw out of camp... she was taken her assessment now... And passed...

Nightstar came onto the leader's rock... "Fruitpaw has passed her assessment and is becoming a warrior today..." she said....

"Fruitpaw! I thought we'd agree we'd wait for whisperpaw!" dimpaw said... "I don't think it'd would have worked anyways to wait for her..." Fruitpaw said...

"I, Nightstar, leader of WindClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. she has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in his turn. Fruitpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?" Nightstar asked.

"I do" fruitpaw said...

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Fruitpaw, from this moment you will be known as Fruitfur. StarClan honors your intelligence and your courage, and we welcome you as a full warrior of WindClan." Nightstar said...

Clawmark walked over to her.... 

Ditchpaw, his apprentice, followed him...

Dimpaw growled, walking away, Whisperpaw looked at her...
