"...He was trained in the Jedi arts, well versed in the dark side. I believe he is a Sith, most likely the apprentice." Master Jinn told the council, as the nine year old Anakin Skywalker stood in front of him, looking at the council nervously, while Padawan Kenobi stood off to the side.

The council had received this report.

Nothing too out of the ordinary, though the appearance of the darksider was of great concern, in Oppo's mind at least.

The Thisspiasian was taking this issue very seriously, probably more so than most.

But he'd been around during the days of the High Republic, so he knows how much more serious this is.

"Impossible, the Sith have been extinct for a millenia." Ki-Adi spoke, more in thought than disbelief, which seemed to go unnoticed by master Jinn if his disapproval in that comment through the force was of any indication.

Qui-Gon took after Dooku in that regard, his own made up opinions always clouded his judgement.

Though Qui-Gon understood that, understood them.

Dooku did not, Dooku only saw them as blind, complacent, arrogant hypocrites, though why Oppo doesn't know.

Perhaps Yoda was complacent in a way, but he is over eight hundred years of age, so that is to be expected.

Speaking of whom, Yoda hums, replying to Ki-Adi.

"Hard to see, the dark side is."

Mace nods from his seat, steepling his fingers over his chest.

"It is important for us to identify this attacker, whether he be a Sith or not."

Ki-Adi was looking deeply thoughtful, though spoke after a moment, as if certain of something, as if he'd searched the force for some hint of an answer.

"I sense he will reveal himself again."

Mace leans forward a bit, looking back to Qui-Gon.

"Though that matter can be put aside for now. Moving on to the next topic, you also spoke of a discovery on Tatooine?"

Qui-Gon nodded and confirmed.

"I have encountered a vergence in the force."

"A vergence, you say?" Yoda inquired, intrigued.

"Centered around...a person?" Mace questions further.

"Yes masters. Anakin Skywalker..." Qui-Gon places a comforting hand on Anakin's shoulder, holding him close like an overprotective father.

An admirable showing, even if not required at the moment.

"...His midi-chlorian count is higher than any Jedi we've seen before. It is possible he was conceived by the midi-chlorians." He finishes.

Oppo notices Depa and Eeth sharing a look before diverting focus back to Qui-Gon.

"You refer to the prophecy of the Chosen One. You believe it's this boy?" Mace asks, seeming a little sceptical but not entirely disbelieving.

"I do."

Yet Oppo still has this feeling, which he'd been having since this meeting was called. He can't determine what it is, but he looks into the force.

The force is not quite prodding, but it is something close.

Question.

Question.

Unravel the mystery of our chosen one.

And Question.

Oppo may not quite understand just yet, but he is well past a hundred, he has great experience. Not as great as master Yaddle's, or master Koon's, or master Poof's or master Yoda's, but great.
