The air inside the cozy living room was filled with warmth and anticipation as the families gathered to discuss the arranged marriage of the elder couple. The soft glow of the lamps cast a gentle hue over the scene, creating an atmosphere of familial closeness and tradition. Tea cups clinked softly against saucers, and the murmur of conversation ebbed and flowed like a comforting river.
Mr and Mrs Sharma sat on the couch with their daughter discussing the topic of marriage between the elder couple with Mr and Mrs Goenka. Their elder son was no where to be found as if it isn't his marriage topic which is being discussed
There is only one thing going on in Akriti's mind "Will it be the right decision"
She is not able to understand if she should agree with her parent's choice and get married to the man they chose or wait for more time and fall in love with right guy and marry
But life is not fair sometimes
The man who is going to be her life partner is busy working
She knows he is a busy person as OfCourse he is the CEO of the biggest company but couldn't he take few minutes and sit with them to talk about their marriage. Is it that difficult for him
Her mind is questioning her with different scenarios and her heart is telling to believe in her parent's decision
Being played with her heart and mind, she stands up gaining attention of the other people present in the hall
"Kya hua Akriti" Mrs Sharma asks her daughter seeing her standing suddenly

She looks around and awkwardly smiles thinking why she has to do everything which gains attention
"Kuch nahi mumma wo I thought itna acha garden hai to dekh kar aati hun" She replies to everyone present there and watching her
(Nothing mom it just i thought the garden is beautiful so I would look around)
"Ha sahi hai ,jao beta tab tak ham shaadi ki baatein kar lete hai" Mrs Goenka says to her and orders a maid to take her to the garden
(Yes it would be better and till then we will talk about the marriage)
She leaves the hall as soon as possible to calm her heart and mind
But even after few minutes she is unable to do so thinking of all the possibilities after the marriage
She isn't the scared girl but sometimes the situation can make a person fear
She doesn't want to show her vulnerabilities to any one not even her parents
She keeps the strong facade for everyone to know that nothing can hurt her as life has taught her many lessons
At the same time a hand grabbed her arm pulling towards himself as she directly hit his chest with a great force but the man didn't bulge
He was looking at her beauty- the black charcoal eyes, the nose, the rose scentand the pink lips and also the brown silky hair which can captivate any man's eyes which makes his eyes hard
