Good and Bad news

After what felt like hours, Tae was abruptly awakened by a blinding light streaming into the balcony where he had been sleeping. Groggy and disoriented, he slowly opened his eyes and realized he was alone. As he prepared to get up from the makeshift bed, his gaze fell upon the gift given to him by Jung-Sook. A small smile crept across his face as he reached for the package. However, the moment he unwrapped it, he was met with an unexpected shock that left him speechless.

He widened his eyes, staring at the gift in disbelief. Suddenly, tears welled up and began to roll down his cheeks. "Thank you, Bunny, I'm so happy," he whispered to himself, overwhelmed with emotion. Just then, the doorbell rang, breaking his moment of solitude. He quickly put on his clothes and went to answer the door.

As he opened the door, a tense Jimin, followed closely by other family members, rushed inside, shouting Jung-Sook's name. Jimin looked at Tae with desperation and asked, "Tae, where is she? This is all a joke, right? Tell me it's a joke!" Jimin's voice was filled with panic and desperation.

"Jimin, calm down. What happened?" Tae asked, utterly confused by the sudden commotion.

"Tae, Jung-Sook sent this letter to my office saying she has left us all. She also sent another envelope meant for you," Jimin said, handing over the letter. Tae hurriedly tore open the envelope and began reading the letter inside. Meanwhile, Jimin frantically searched the house with a glimmer of hope, but all he found were empty rooms and an empty walk-in closet.

After reading the letter, Tae sighed deeply and looked at Jimin, who was still desperately searching. The other family members stood by, anxiously waiting for Tae to speak.

"Stop it, Jimin. You won't find her. She left us all. She left me," Tae said, his voice heavy with sorrow. Jimin rushed over to him, shouting in disbelief.

"What are you even saying? How can she leave? She is pregnant with your baby! How could she do this?" Jimin sobbed loudly, his voice breaking, and the others widened their eyes in shock at the news.

"Babies," Tae corrected, his voice barely above a whisper as he pointed to the gift box on the tea table. "She's carrying twins.

"How do you know she's pregnant, Jimin?" Yoongi asked, breaking the silence after all the chaos had subsided.

"She informed me two weeks ago and asked for my help in surprising Tae. I accompanied her to the hospital for the scan and helped with all the surprise arrangements. But she never mentioned she was carrying twins or any of this," Jimin explained, his voice trembling. "Every time we did something together, she kept apologizing. When I asked why she was saying sorry, she would tell me it was because she was making me work hard. But now I understand why she apologized that day—she was saying sorry for the future. Why did she do this?" Jimin's voice broke as he sobbed loudly, collapsing into Yoongi's arms.

At the same time, Jin also broke down, sobbing loudly. "God, why is all this happening? My baby is out there all alone, carrying those little beings. Joonie, please, do something. Search for her and bring her back to me. We're going to be grandparents—don't let my baby be alone, especially not in this situation. Please, do something, Taehyung. Inform your team and bring her back. You can do that, right?" he pleaded, looking desperately at Tae, who was staring blankly at the letter in his hands.

"Taehyung, what happened? Why did she leave?" Namjoon asked calmly, knowing he couldn't afford to break down.

"She misunderstood me and left," Tae responded briefly, shocking everyone with his terse explanation.

"No, she wouldn't do that. She can't leave you just like that. Tell us what really happened," Jimin asked desperately, his voice filled with concern.

"I planned to take down Mark by any means necessary. In the process, I had to get close to a woman who has close connections with Mark. I never disclosed this matter to anyone except J-Hope. Jun-Sook saw me with that woman and thought I was cheating on her," Tae said with a painful chuckle, the weight of his words hanging heavily in the air.
