Chapter 8

Lexi's POV

"Jason don't touch me!" I screeched. "Not gonna happen babe." He smirked and kept kissing me. 

I felt disgusted.

This is how I'm going to die.

 "Your worst then Harry!" I yelled. "I know," He said. 

"Now Lexibear, how about you shut up so I can do this." He said and started trying to take off my jeans. "Don't call me that shit," I said through gritted teeth.

His phone started ringing.

He rolled his eyes and picked up. He got up and started walking around the room. 

It's funny how he thought I was gonna like what he was gonna do so he untied me. I pounced up and sprinted out the door. "Wait!" He yelled. I didn't stop. I ran out the front door and ran into the forest which I was running in. I ran and ran. I stopped when I was very far away. I slipped on my shirt on again and looked around. There was nothing but trees and grass.

I heard a stick crunch. I jumped,and I turned my head. Nothing. It was dead silent. I started walking siletly when I heard a voice. "Lexi, Lexi, Lexi you think you can get away that easily?" The voice asked. I jumped and there was Jason smirking. But what scared me the most was the thing he was pointing at me. A gun.

"Jason please." I said. "I thought you knew better Lexi." He teased evilly. My eyes were filled with fear. My eyes were directed on the gun. "Jason can we please settles this?" I asked full of fear. "Well there's two choices. You go back to the house or I kill you right here,right now." He said. If I go back there he'll do so many things but if I don't. I get killed.

Why should I live if I'm just going to suffer?

"I'm not going," I said firmly. "Oh really?" He asked. "Really." I said backing up a step.

He got closer to me and I took a step back. "C'mon Lexi lets get this over with," He said and lifted up the gun again. 

I closed my eyes waiting for the impact. 

But instead I felt something against my head. I opened my eyes,and Jason had the gun to the side of my head. I felt the tears form. Bye Mom. Bye Liam. Bye Dad. Bye Louis. Bye Zayn. Bye Niall. Bye Peyton. Bye Harry. Bye World.

I heard a boom and my body started hurting and I screamed in pain. Then everything stopped. I collapsed on the floor.

Liam's POV

My phone started ringing and it was from 911. "Hello?" I asked worridly. "Is this Liam Payne?" The gruff voice asked. 

"Yes." I said. "We found your sister Lexi Payne." He said. 

"Are you serious!? Where is she? Is she okay?" I said fastly. "Sir', We found her on the floor in Brick Rode,In the Forest. She was loosing blood and had a bullet through her side. She's in the hospital now and we found the shooter." He said.

I felt the tears form.

 I gasped and covered my mouth. "Which hospital?" I asked.

"Baptist hospital sir," He said and I quickly hung up. "Guys were going to the Hospital!" I yelled running out of my room and grabbing the keys fastly.

The guys ran out of their rooms and stared at me. "C'mon!" I yelled tears going down my cheeks.

They nodded and went to the car. 

Zayn hopped into the Drivers seat and I sat down in the passengers seat. I started moving my leg. Zayn started the car and started driving to the Hospital. "What happend?" Niall asked worried. "They found Lexi but they shot her on the side and she's lost a lot of blood." I cried.

They widened their eyes and tears formed in the guys eyes. "Liam mate I'm sorry," Louis apologized. I just sighed and looked at my knees. "Zayn! Can you go any faster?" I said frusterated. "Liam I can't! I'll get a ticket and there's traffic!" Zayn said frustrated. I groaned. Finally the line started going faster and we got to the hospital. I ran in and tapped the counter. "Where's Lexi Payne?" I asked tear stains on my cheeks.

"She's in surgery right now sir. Who are you?" She asked. "I'm her brother." I said.

She nodded. "Wait in those chairs," She said. I groaned and nodded. The boys sat next to me. After about two hours, I was worried sick.

Well I was worried sick since she was kidnapped but now I was dying. 

 What if this doesn't go well?

 What if she dies?

 What if she stops breathing? 

All these questions ran through my mind which made me more frusterated. The Docter came out. "Who's here for Lexi Payne?" He asked. We stood up and walked to him. "We just finished the surgery and she's fine but there's a little problem." He said. I widened my eyes when he said little problem.

"What's wrong?" I asked worridly. "Since the injury was in many parts of her body and she hit her head very hard on the ground she has short term memory loss. So who did she meet recently?" He asked. The boys raised their hand. "Well she won't remember you boys. But like her brother of course she will remember you." He said. I nodded at least she won't remember the kidnapping. I don't want those things going through her mind.

"Do you think she'll remember it back?" Louis asked. "There's a 50% chance she'll remember and a 50% chance she won't." He said. 

"Can we see her now?" I asked. 

"Yes she's in room 2085." He said. "Liam,She's okay." Zayn said. 

"Thank god." I said. We got to the room and I knocked. 

"Come in!" I heard my Sister's voice yell. I walked in and she widend her eyes. "Liam!" She said and I hugged her. 

"How are you doing?" I asked. My eyes traveled to her arms. She had bruises and scars all over her. 

I felt the tears form.

I looked away and blinked back the tears. "Good I guess but I wanna leave." She whined. I chuckled she's never been a fan of Hospitals. "Aren't you the guys from the band Liam is in?" She asked. They smiled and nodded. 

"Well I'm Lexi, sorry you had to meet me like this." She said. "It's okay." Niall said. "Liam,what happened that I'm here? Why don't I remember?" She asked. I sighed. "You hit your head Lexi. Don't worry about it." I said. She sighed and nodded. "Wait isn't there 5 of you?" She asked confused. At that moment Harry ran in.

"Lexi are you okay?" Harry said worriedly tears on his cheeks. 

"Who are you?" She asked confused. 

Harry turned to me. "How doesn't she remember me?" He asked. "You're from that band! You're with my brother!" She said estatic. I grabbed Harry's hand and dragged him out. I closed her door and looked at him. "Harry look, Lexi has short term memory loss. They shot her many times and there's a 50% chance she'll get her memory back. So all you boys have to start fresh." I said.

I saw something in his eyes but I didn't know what it was.

Harry's POV

I got a second chance.
