Ryder and I arrive at a one story house, its brightly coloured with green walls and a purple door as well as red window cills, I smile when Ryder fidgets with his phone walking up the small stairs.
"My sister should have some clothes you could borrow, she maybe be a little bigger than you" he says with a frown on his face.
"Oh alright" I shrug following him inside.
"Bella I'm home" he yells throwing his keys onto a table. he doesn't take his shoes off. I slip my feet out of my joggers and place them neatly between the door and the table out of the walk way.
"Why so early?" A girl voice groans
"Because I brought someone back with me" he sighs, I hear the girl walking closer and I look down at my feet. a hole on each sock, the dress slightly ripped with the strings now hanging lower than the dress.
"You brought home a slut again" she spits the word slut out like it left a bad taste in her mouth.
I bite my lip and tug my dress down further.
"No, I didn't" Ryder sighs "this is Calista, you know the girl that everyone thought ether died or had ran away?" I look up and see the girl nod with a frown "this is her"
"Not buying it. why is she here not at her crazy mums house" the girl laughs bitterly.
"My mum is not crazy" I snap. I cover my mouth as my eyes go wide "sorry, Ms" I look down at my feet again. "I-I'm sorry I disrespected you Ms Stark please forgive me" I say quietly hoping not to be hit. I finch when I see Ryder raise his arm I drop to my knees and fold my hands together as tears escape my eyes "please no, I'm sorry Mr Stark I didn't mean to, please" I beg Harrison hated it when I begged but I couldn't help it he promise he wouldn't hurt me. maybe a promise doesn't be up held unless I be nice to him? That's what Harrison always said to me.
"Wow" Bella sighs I look at my bleeding knees and wipe my eyes
"Oh no Cali please stand up, im sorry I scared you. I did promise I wouldn't hurt you" Ryder says quickly while his eyes are wide.
I sleepy stand up nodding.
"She needs clothes huh?" Bella smirks
"Bella get your smallest size please, she is like bone" Ryder sighs
"Don't worry I'm not blind" Bella laughs walking down the hall.
"Alright where do you want to sleep? You have the guest bed, the couch, my bed or-"
"No Mr Stark I am only in need of a slab of cement, I do not wish to worry you" I keep my head down fiddling with the broken strings from my dress.
"Cali you can sleep in the guest room, its right beside mine, so if you need me... I'm always in there" he sighs walking down the hall. I don't whether I'm meant to follow him or not so I stay where I am.
"Come on" I jump to the sound of Ryder's voice.
I look up and see him frowning at me. oh no I made him upset. I quickly follow him down the hall, he opens one the doors and walks in.
"This is where you can stay until you don't want to" he shrugs and walks back out, I follow him. "This is my room" he gestures to the dark brown door. the guest room has a dark purple door. there is a peach pink, light blue and a deep green one on the other side of the hall.
"Hey" Bella smiles walking out of the pink one "I got you these, I hope they fit, your much smaller than I am" she laughs passing me a bunch of black clothes.
"Thank you" I nod at her and walk into the purple door.
I pull off the dress and put the black top on. an eagle is spread over the shirt. I jump when the door opens. I don't hide my body as Harrison would always get mad at me
"Oh I'm sorry" Bella gasps
"No it's fine" I smile softly
"Oh, alright" she frowns at my scar covered thighs "uhh" she shakes her head and looks back at me "I wanted to clean your knees up so they don't get infected" she smiles softly.
"Oh alright" I nod.
She nods walking closer to me. she places a first aid box on the bed and asks me to sit. I do as I'm told and she couches in front of me. she sighs and applies some liquid to a cotton ball then rubs it in my knees. I close my eyes as the stinging fills my knee caps. it's nothing compared to what Harrison had done to me.
"Why aren't you wincing?" Bella frowns
"It doesn't hurt that bad?" I mumble
"Uhh, okay" she mumbles while wiping my knee caps with a wipe.
"Thank you" I nod at her and pull the ripped jeans up my legs.
"All good babes" she smiles standing up and packing the first aid kit up
