"I... Don't want to be a slave anymore." - Alexander Polounkovsky

"God fucking damn it." WRRF cursed under his breath. He looked at the sets placed down before him. The small little chess pieces representing Battalions. They were outnumber. 6 to 2. WRRF face frowned visibly. Almost nothing in this battle map seemed to be adding to hia advantage. "Boss, I'm not gonna lie." Plesetsk began. "We might be screwed." Plesetsk explained. "Yeah I can see that buddy..." WRRF groaned at Plesetsk's explanation. WRRF looked at the battlefield a final time. The 6 pieces representing the 6:2 odds battalions from the opposing faction, and the arrangement on the map didn't seem to offer any significant advantage. Plesetsk, who stood beside him, broke the silence with a blunt assessment. "I'm not sugarcoating it, boss," he said. "We might be in trouble here." WRRF had to admit that Plesetsk was right. The odds were stacked heavily against them. Komi snickered, composing himself before talking.

"The odds seem fair to me--" "Komi, shut the fuck up. Last thing I want hear is you and Ukhta nag me right now." WRRF cut him off, gritting his teeth hard. "I didn't even say anything--" Ukhta added. "I don't care," WRRF snapped. "Now's not the time for jokes or arguments. We need to focus on our strategy and find a way to even the odds." Ukhta raised a brow, sharing glances with Plesetsk and Komi. "How are you gonna do that, sir?" Ukhta asked. WRRF sighed, rubbing his temples in frustration. Ukhta had raised a valid question, but the answer wasn't immediately clear. The commander took a moment to gather his thoughts, his mind racing to find a solution. "I'm working on it," he grumbled. "That's really convincing." Komi added in unamused sarcasm. WRRF snapped at him.

WRRF's patience thinned further at Komi's sarcastic remark. The situation was already dire, and the last thing he needed was someone's smart mouth. "Komi, shut it," he growled. "Your attitude isn't helping. If you've got a better idea, feel free to share it. Otherwise, keep your comments to yourself." WRRF growled. Komi smirked. "Alright then..." He leaned forward, stretching his body. Before looking at the board. "...What do you know the opposing sides leader? Like... What personal details do you know about ermm... What was his name? Samara was it?" WRRF looked at Komi with a mixture of surprise and curiosity. He hadn't expected Komi to actually offer something useful. "Samara, yeah." WRRF responded, straightening up. "We've had some intel on him. He's known for being highly strategic and calculated. Prefers to wear the 'good guy' mask, but I'm not fooled. He'll do whatever it takes to win."

"Good guy you say..." Komi thought for a second. Turning to look at Plesetsk. "Did the NKVD leave any documents on the guy before the state collapsed?" Komi asked. Plesetsk thought. "No... Most documents were burned by the Kommisariat... I think there's still a Red Army file somewhere in Archangelsk?" Plesetsk answered. "Welp, get it." Komi ordered. WRRF looked at Komi with a mixture of surprise and intrigue. "You actually think there's something in the Red Army file?" he asked, skepticism lacing his voice. "Well, it's worth a shot," Komi replied, his eyes locked onto Plesetsk. "We need any advantage we can get, and if there's a chance that file contains something useful, we shouldn't overlook it." "Alright, then." Plesetsk acquiesced, "I'll go to Archangelsk and get it."

As Plesetsk left. The room fell in awkward silence again. "Welp." Komi began, leaning back on the wall. "Go home for now, try to close your eyes and relax until your henchman gets the file." Komi suggested.
WRRF nodded reluctantly. "I suppose you're right," he begrudgingly admitted. Despite the high stakes and the dire situation, Komi's suggestion made sense. WRRF knew he wouldn't be able to focus fully until Plesetsk returned with the file. "Fine," he said, "I'll go back to my tent and try to get some rest. Wake me up as soon as Plesetsk gets back. Understand?" Komi nodded in acknowledgment, and WRRF turned to leave the tent. Ukhta left the room. Leaving Komi alone. "Fun fella..." He sarcastically remarked to himself. Leaning back on the wall again, running his fingers through his head. Closing his eyes for the moment.
