The Night Hasuki Fell in Love

Hasuki woke up the next day feeling sick, so he went to the bathroom to throw up, it was probably because of the morphine he had taken the night before. Jason was standing in front of the bathroom door when he got out.

-Good morning. Hasuki said.

-Morning!

Jason went to the bathroom while Hasuki got dressed, when they were both ready, they went downstairs to meet Jacob.

-Where is Ashley? He asked.

-She's sleeping. Jason said.

-Oh, it's fine, I've been thinking about giving you the day off because you did great yesterday, so you're free to do whatever you want.

-Thanks. Jason said.

Hasuki didn't say a word to him and headed straight to his room, but Jacob pulled his hand.

-Come to my office I'd like to talk to you.

He followed his boss to his office, it wasn't big, and it didn't look like an office, it had a pool table and a lot of posters with bands from the 90s. Jacob didn't seem mad, he actually seemed nervous.

-Let's play pool.

Hasuki accepted. They played for a while, his boss was having fun, but he was quite uncomfortable.

-What did you want to ask me? Hasuki said before making his shot.

-Oh, I almost forgot... I wanted to ask if you wanted to go on a date with me. He said nervously.

-No thank you, I'm good.

Jacob was unpleasantly surprised by his comment.

-What do you mean ''no thank you''?

-I said-...

Before finishing his sentence, a switchblade was at Hasuki's neck.

-You will go on date with me, and we will have a good time.

-OKAY OKAY, CALM DOWN!

-Okay, let's go then! Jacob said before putting the switchblade back in his pocket.

It was a sunny day, it was one of those that made you feel like a kid again, back when you played in the front yard all day long, Hasuki has never experienced such days, so for him it was just a regular one.

Jacob had a weird expression on his face, but after thinking about it, Hasuki realized that his boss always had it on his face, it was one that only a mad person would have.

The two were holding hands, but it was only Jacob that gripped Hasuki's hand. After walking a little, they stopped and sat on a bench in a nearby park and kissed, it was forced, and the ''captive'' was repulsed.

The park was more of a public garden, there were exotic flowers and trees everywhere, it was gorgeous. Hasuki felt like he was tainting its beauty with his and his boss's presence.

-We should leave, do you want to go anywhere else before heading back?

-Why? We just got here.

-I don't know, I don't belong here, I don't want to destroy the beauty of this park. Hasuki's voice was shaking.

-Why, you are gorgeous just like all these flowers... Let's go eat then. Jacob said disappointed.

They got up and walked the beautiful streets of the city, music was playing in the background, people were chatting in restaurants and the sun was shining, all while Hasuki was walking alongside a mad man.

Jacob stopped at a small independent coffee shop, it was one of those that tried too hard to make you feel at home, it was obnoxious.

-Waiter, WAITER! Jacob screamed.

-I'll have a cappuccino and a ham sandwich. He said.

-I'll have a small black coffee.

The waiter left after noting what they ordered.

-What about your girlfriend?

-What? Jacob asked.

-What will she think about you going on a date with me?

-I don't love that ugly whore, I just wanted her to work for me.

Hasuki was taken aback by his comment, he was disgusted.

-You're disgusting... Hasuki said.

-What?

-I said you're dis-

Jacob didn't wait for him to finish his sentence and punched him.

-Sorry love, I just felt the need to do that. Jacob apologized while looking at Hasuki with sorrowful eyes.

The whole restaurant was looking at them and Hasuki just stared at him.

-Let's go to the cinema! That will be fun. He said loudly.

 Hasuki didn't say a thing.

Jacob pulled him out of the coffee shop and dragged him through the lively streets straight to the cinema. He noticed that there was a couple discount that day.

-Oh, look a couple discount!

-We are not a couple Jacob... Hasuki said visibly sick.

-No one loves you, you're a drug addict and a sex worker. Jacob replied with a smile on his face.

Hasuki didn't know what to say.

-Let's watch this one, I like romance movies.

The movie was two hours long, it was enough for Jacob to touch his ''date'' and force him into multiple unpleasant kisses. While this was happening, Hasuki only thought about what his boss has told him earlier.

-Could someone like me ever be loved... He said to himself.

After the movie, they went back to their workplace. Jacob had a disgusting smirk on his face and Hasuki felt the need to get high more than ever.

-I had a great time, let's go on a second date next week!

Hasuki didn't answer, he went straight to where he kept his morphine.

-Only four tablets left? Damn it.

He took all of them and spent the night upstairs in his room, his roommates weren't there, they were probably enjoying their free day unlike him.

-3 Hours Had Passed-

-AAAAAAAAH!! Hasuki screamed.

Ashley was on top of him pointing a knife at his face.

-I knew you were after my boyfriend. She said confidently.

-I swear I'm not, calm down!

-WHY THE HELL WOULD HE GO OUT WITH YOU AND NOT ME?!!? I'LL CUT THAT FUCKING FACE OF YOURS!

The lights suddenly turned on.

-Get off him you dumb whore! Jacob said before slapping her.

Ashley got off Hasuki and started crying.

-Why h-him? W-What makes him so special?

...

Jacob didn't answer.

-ANSWER ME! ...Please...

-You're just a deranged hoe. GET OUT OF HERE!

Ashley ran out crying, bumping into Jason who was coming back from his night out.
