𝓡hiannon 𝓟ierce and Percy Jackson were not the same. Percy Jackson was a hero; and Rhiannon was just a regular teenage girl trying to finish her freshman year of high school. Sure, they were both children of the big three, and had similar personalities, along with both being wrongly accused for thefts related to the gods—but that's not the point. Rhiannon is no hero. So when she's thrown into some weird camp, claimed by a god of the big three, and given her first ever prophecy within three days, Rhiannon feels overwhelmed. Now, due to her lineage and connection with Hades, Rhiannon is blamed for the theft of the Crown of Balance, and has to work together with nine other kids of the olympians to return it to Zues before the Winter Solstice, which is in two weeks.
𝓥incent 𝓗owell and Luke Castellan were not the same. Luke Castellan was a villain; and Vincent was just a normal kid trying to get justice for his mother and all the other kids who were dealt shit cards from the gods. Sure, both of their mothers went crazy, and they both were followed for their charm, along with sharing similar fates—but that's not the point. Vincent is no villain. He's been at camp half-blood since he was five, and wasn't claimed until he turned 17. So, when he watches his half sister get claimed almost immediately upon her arrival, and getting the attention he never got, Vincent feels betrayed. Now, when the opportunity comes to get the glory he deserves, Vincent uses his powers from Hades to sneak in the shadows and steal the Crown of Balance; causing a feud between the 12 olympian gods, and potentially triggering WW3 down in the mortal world.
