A pulse shows that one is still breathing and alive.
But are we really alive or just living. Im sure one wishes to teleport and go wherever so one can feel happy by seeing the world and being one with nature.
But honestly what is happiness, its how you make yourself feel or not feel. Being sad is easy living on earth cause some feed on this site whether humans or spiritually.
We do need the heart racing, blood flowing causing the pulse to pound hard against the skin in doing so, we need the passion to thrive.
