Hope woke in the arms of both Josie and Penelope snuggled in a onesie. She of course remembered almost immediately how that had occurred but she blushed when she thought of her little self's behaviour and fervently hoped that neither of the two girls she loved would hold this against her. Hope knew that neither were the sort to judge others, but this was a lot for them to be ok with, she had not intended to tell them about this side of her at least not for a long time, but her secret was well and truly out the bag now.
The two other girls steered and soon realised Hope was back to herself. It was immediately clear to Hope that they were expecting an explanation, she tried to give them one but her hauling attempts to do so merely left them confused and her significantly embraced. Finally, land Hope stopped trying to explain herself and just looked hopefully and mournfully into Penelope's eyes, silently begging her to understand or at least not judge her. After only a moment Penelope pulled both Hope and Josie into a tight embrace, as if to confirm to Hope that no matter what she wasn't going to lose either of them.
"I can't pretend I even vaguely understand this, but I had a lot of fun yesterday with you, Hope." Penelope told her firmly and Josie quickly agreed.
Hope basked in their shared acceptance and warm regard. The emotions Hope was feeling were quickly overwhelming her and without even really thinking about what she was doing, Hope pulled Penelope into a fiery and passionate kiss. A kiss that initially took Penelope by surprise but then as she felt Hope's tongue demanding entry, she felt the rightness and passion of this moment and deepened the embrace of their mouths her own tongue playing with Hope's as her insides and brain turned to mush. Eventually, they pulled apart, Penelope trying desperately to gain her bearings after that epic kiss. While Hope still not really thinking nor having properly processed but nevertheless unwilling to leave one of her two favorite people feeling jealous and left out, had turned her attention to Josie pulling her into a similarly earth-shattering and passionate kiss to the one she had just moments before shared with Penelope. Soon the three of them were making out heavily sharing without reserve the love that undeniably existed between them. Tongues and hands played freely like instruments of love playing an enchanting concerto without even so much as a word passing between them. Each pressed themselves against each other desperate for each other's gentle caress that expressed the maelstrom of love and emotion that could not adequately be expressed in words. It felt to all of them that this unheard magical concerto was building to a final epic culmination that all three longed for in the very depths of their souls until in just a fraction of a second that organised sympathy collapsed the moment and the music lost gone forever or at least for the moment replaced with a tragic sense of loss for all three. Hope had fled, the fog of emotions had cleared momentarily, and she had panicked running headlong out the door leaving a very confused, perplexed Penelope and Josie behind her. Even as she fled, she felt that loss and wished fervently to return to her two lovers, just as confused as they were as to why she had left. The only explication her two lovers got were Hope's half-mumbled words that she couldn't do this, words that she had repeated several times along with several that were not audible as she raced towards the door.
For the next two days, Hope avoided them both, neither Penelope nor Josie saw her at all outside of lessons. It was incredibly frustrating, to both of them finding themselves unable to confront Hope as both instinctively intended. After a couple of attempts each to speak to Hope they had had a private conversation between the two of them, they had considered the circumstances understanding that Hope often displayed self-destructive tendencies and that they were both intent not to allow Hope to ruin what was between the three of them even if it turned out that all that was between them and Hope was just friendship. Regardless both agreed that the key to not allowing Hope to do this was to wait until Hope came back to them and not to push her until she did.
A loud crashing sound against her door startled Penelope from the book she was reading, it sounded as if someone had fallen against her door but when Penelope went to look she could see nothing and it appeared that no- one was there. Shrugging but still considerably perturbed Penelope was just about to close the door when she was confronted with a loud but playful.
"Boo. Scared you."
Penelope stumbled back in surprise as a now fully visible Hope came leaping through her door.
Hope seemed incredibly pleased with her little trick using her magic for an invisibility spell had been harder in her little mindset, but it still came fairly naturally to her as magic always had. Penelope had barely recovered from the monumental scare and was not at all prepared for the bouncy adorable tribrid that was rocking back and forth on her heels looking up at Penelope with a pacifier in her mouth.
"Hello, little one you gave me quite the fright." Penelope managed.
"Sawy." Hope raced over to Penelope and reached her arms around Penelope. Penelope immediately reciprocated pulling Hope into a big hug.
The next hour was manic for Penelope, little Hope was a manic menace that needed constant supervision and had far too much energy for Penelope to deal with especially since she was unused to dealing with small children, but eventually, Penelope was able to distract Hope with some paper and wax crayons Penelope had bought thinking of Hope on the off chance she would see Hope's little alter ego again. The art supplies were, Penelope thought, a good way to distract and occupy Hope at any age and she should have started off with that. Taking the few moments of uninterrupted silence Penelope pulled out her phone and made a call.
"Hi, Jo Jo, you will never guess what little one just showed up at my door. She seems to have arrived without any of her things or anything she might need or want, could you stop in at her room on your way here to collect some things for her, thanks, Jo."
Penelope was only just off the phone quick enough to stop Hope decorating Penelope's bedframe and wall with the crayons. Penelope and Josie spend the remainder of that day with Hope playing in alternating turns, hide and seek, and drawing. The day culminated in a very tired Penelope and Josie curled up on Penelope's bed watching cartoons with a drowsy but very much not asleep Hope between them. As one of the cartoons ended and another began Hope hopped down from the bed and scrambled over to the pile of her drawings she had made earlier and deliberated over them sucking hard on her pacifier in hard contemplation. Finally, she returned to Penelope and Josie's warm embrace clutching in triumph two pictures which she presented one to each of them. The one she handed to Josie was a crayon drawing of a flower with a bee buzzing over it. The other she handed to Penelope had three simplistically drawn figures which Hope had explained when drawing it, to be herself, Josie, and Penelope.
"I's giving them to you." Hope had proudly told them when asked why she had brought them over. Both girls knew instantly that they would treasure those pictures as one of their most sacred possessions. Penelope especially had never received a lot of meaningful gifts like this and just being given that gift nearly overwhelmed her with happiness.
On the verge of sleep with Josie next to her Penelope looked over at the sound asleep Hope with a loving smile.
"I just wish that she was this open with us when she isn't little. " Penelope confessed softly.
"She is just so closed off usually. But you love her despite that or maybe a little because of it." Josie agreed.
Penelope sat bolt upright sleep momentarily forgotten ready to protest her love for Josie. "I know you love me as well Pen but you can't deny how I know you feel about her. It's ok, I can't either. " Josie pulled Penelope back down into the bed and they fell asleep still tangled in that embrace with Hope next to them.
Thanks for reading I really enjoy writing little Hope her character is really fun, comment ideas for thing she, Penelope and Josie should do next.
