GUANGSHU VILLAGE
Hoseok had taken him to the little library placed in the center of the village. He had dug around for a while until he pulled out a tin full of scrolls, tied tight with red rope. "So basically, maybe 50 years ago some guy thought he seen the red knight also. These are story of every sighting." He hands the tin over to Jungkook who takes them and places it on a table shuffling through them. "All these sightings took place from the North, East, South, west, periodically in that order."
"Wait, is she moving in a circle?" Jungkook perks a brow as he picks up one of the scrolls.
"That's what we could assume, and right now we are west so..."
"She must be moving North."
"Gosh." Hoseok sighs, "could you even imagine roaming the earth for years and years."
Jungkook picks the tin up and they begin heading out of the library, "is this you admitting she's real?" He smirks.
"Um I'm not admitting anything, I doubt what you seen was real. Your probably just as crazy as the people who made those-"He puts up air quotes, "sighting."
Jungkook punches him square in the shoulder and hoseok winces shoving him back, they were heading towards the clinic to get some herbs he could take on the road with him. The clinic was just a hut made of three rooms, and open area with beds and cabinets full of herbs and magic plants. They push the wooden door open and it's quite empty compared to the usual days.
He looks over into the right corner of the rooms and he sees a blonde woman grinding something in a wooden bowl. "Roséeee." Jungkook sing songs. The woman turns her head with an annoyed look on her face.
"Your back."
"At least Pretend like your happy to see me." He fake pouts.
"I don't do pretending, especially when i have to heal you so many times." Rosé smirks, Rosé also knows about Jungkook real identity. Rosé is the villages pride and glory, she had the power to heal and they took her in for that reason. she stops what she's doing to give her full attention to the boys now in her room. "Now why are you really here."
"He's here to get herbs." Hoseok answers instead, "going on another quest." He makes fun and Rosé giggles at his antics.
"Jeez Jungkook, I thought your plan was to stay with us here forever."
"Don't act like you wouldn't just love if I left." He rolls his eyes.
"Jungkook thinks he seen the red knight:" hoseok says quickly, and Jungkook gives him a side eye.
Rosé eyes widen and suddenly she's seems all the more serious. "Wait huh?"
"Yesterday I went out and I witnessed someone in red with a sword! And she was swift and.."
"That could be anybody." Rosé scoffs, "the red knight hasn't been real for years."
"That's what everyone else thinks, but that's not what I believe. There was an aura there when I seen her, I know what I seen."He exasperated, he knows that couldn't have just been a normal person.
Rosé sighs and stretches her back, "listen Jungkook im all in for you leaving and I can have this village to myself. But that's really freaking dangerous. You don't know what the red knight is capable off. Or what if you run into something dangerous out there"
"I appreciate your concern but this is on me rosé, and this all comes down to why I'm really here. I wanted to take some herbs on the road with me."
"Are you sure?? You've barely just gotten better from the full moon 4 days ago. And now your going on a super adventure." Although she hadn't loved the boy too much she couldn't help but express concern for his safety.
"Please rosé, I know what I'm doing I just need a few herbs."
Rosé finally giving in sighs and rubs a hand down her face. "Okay, but I have to collect something's from the forest first."
"Okay I'll go with you to make sure your safe." Jungkook offers, hoseok shake his head and pats his friends shoulder. "Just go ahead and and pack your things Jungkook I'll go with her."
Jungkook nods his head and exits the hut, an excited look on his face.
