Elda's journey

Picnic with problems

Here's the second chapter. Please enjoy.

 Elda and her family were ready for their picnic trip now , and they have also prepared home made sandwiches, fresh fruits , juices and also don't forget about the cookies and cake prepared by Elda herself.

After checking their vehicle and food they were ready to depart. 

The place they have choose was a little far away from their home. But it was closer to their grandparents residence. The road a fine until they crossed the bridge to the north of the city . The area was full of trees and not a single person can be seen but it wasn't scary at all , actually it was quite peaceful and calm. 

The forest is actually a short cut to the nearby village from where almost more than half of the city's food came. And Elda's grand father own one of the biggest farms in the village. Her grand parents also owned a big traditional house there. It could be said that Elda's grandparents were rich. But Elda's parents cam also be considered as rich because they too earn a lot and as Elda is a bright student she doesn't have to worry about her school or college expenses. And the money that is saved by Elda thorough her scholarship are kept in her a bank account. Also elda would get a lot of pocket money from her grandparents. 

They have decided earlier that that will sit by the river and would spend the night at elda's grand parents. 

As they crossed the river their vehicle started making noise and slow down . They were travelling in a jeep as it was easy to drive a jeep in the unlevelled road of forest. 

When the problem occurred Elda's father got down and went to check the tires. He found a moucecatther that had stuck the tires. The catcher was hidden well in the forest dirt so it was hard to see it from far. 

Elda's father inspected it and took it out. He then change the tires and resumed his journey. When Elda saw it she immediately understood what it meant. It was kept to catch the wild animals of the forest , but hunting was prohibited there. And that they soon have to report it to the forest rangers. 

Along the way Elda and her parents discussed about how cruel some people are as they are ready to hurt some innocent little animal for money. As she love animals and can't bear to hurt them she was furious at whoever did that. 

After a fourth give minute long drive they finally reached their destination . When that for down Elda's grandparents were already waiting for them. She ran to them and hugged them. Actually Elda's grandparents were in their fourties which was quiet young for their situation because they were very young when they had Elda's father. 

 "Grandma Grandpa i missed you so much" said Elda while hugging them . They also hugged her back " we missed you too honey" her grandparents replied. " Look i also made cake and cookies for you two." Said elda. "Thank you honey, that's so sweet of you."

After that Elda's parents greeted their parents and that together went to have tea.
