"So, you and Conrad?"Ash looked to Helen who was stood with a small smirk and her arms folded across her chest. Ash sighed from where she sat on the window nook.
"What about Eli?" Helen asked her softly as she sat next to the girl. Ash bit her bottom lip as she looked out the window.
"I don't know." Ash whispered out as she looked to Helen. "Does that make me a bad person? For going with Conrad when I still have all the shit going on with Eli?"
"I guess it depends on the situation." Helen shrugged at her. Ash inhaled deeply, running a hand through her hair.
"Me and Conrad kissed when Eli was already out of the picture." Ash quickly explained to Helen. "I used to like him back in the day so I guess those feelings came back."
"How do you feel?" Helen asked curiously, crossing one leg over the other. "Do you still feel like you love Eli.
"Yes." Ash responded without a second thought before she sighed out shakily. "I'll always love Eli."
"That isn't very fair to Conrad." Helen had told the girl knowingly with a small frown. "He loves you and you alone."
"I know." Ash sighed out frustratedly. "I just... I was feeling so lonely. My relationship with Eli was done, I unfriended Henry and Tory and Stacey and Robby because they all switched sides, I was just there.. by myself in Cobra Kai with that horrible woman who made me feel like shit every training session."
"Now that you friends with everyone again, and Eli is back in your life.. do you still feel those strong feelings with Conrad?" Helen asked her.
"I do." Ash responded with a nod. "I still feel the same way about Conrad. It all happened so fast, me becoming friends with everyone again.. so I don't even know if I've had time to think about it either. It's all so confusing. I'm so confused about everything."
"Love is confusing." Helen told the girl wisely. "Especially young love. It's okay to be confused about it all, it's okay to feel these feelings about more than one person at once. It's okay, Ash. What's not okay is leading someone on. I'm not trying to make you feel bad, but maybe you should talk to Conrad and tell him what's going on."
"I know, I know." Ash nodded at the woman with a sigh, tracing the photo on her pajamas pants idly.
"And you should probably stay single until you heal properly." Helen also told the girl softly. "I love you, Ash, and it hurts me to see you hurt. You've been through so much, you should heal properly before you're in any type of relationship with anyone."
"You're right." Ash sighed out to the woman knowingly. "Thank you, Helen. I really appreciate you talking some sense into me."
"Always, Ash." Helen smiled before she hugged the girl. Ash stared for a moment before she hugged back tightly, shutting her eyes.
"Nice to see my two girls getting along." A new voice had spoken up. The two turned to see Sia who looked to Helen as they pulled away from the hug. "Cassie's sleeping in the crib and Benny's on his Ipad on the bed."
"That child, I told him screentime's over." Helen sighed out tiredly before she looked to Sia. "But thank you, S. I really appreciate it."
"Anything for you, my love." Sia grinned as she sat on the floor next to Helen, seeing as there was no more room on the window nook. She kissed Helen's leg before looking to Ash. "What were you two talking about?"
"My love crisis with Conrad and Eli." Ash sighed out exasperatedly to her mother. Sia hummed as she nodded.
"Yeah, I saw that kiss with you and Conrad." Sia nodded at the girl. "I also saw Eli walking away from us."
