Alright my little freaks, buckle up. This story is going to be a wild one, but you voted for it so you're all to blame. This story isn't scheduled to start posting until early next year, but I figured I'd give you guys time to save it/add to your library for when it finally drops. Updates are not going to be posted regularly as adult life has been kicking my ass. The AO3 curse may have my face but it has no name to write in its Death Note... and I've also been raw-dogging reality, unmedicated for wayyyy too long. But fuck it, here are a couple lists of what to look forward to, and what to watch out for in this dumpster fire.

Edited 12/07/24: So, I just wanted to flesh out the whole Blood & Gore tag. As you probably saw, it's a DDDNE. And I'm here to tell you to take that shit seriously. I know that's the whole point of the tag, but I'm adding a third warning. I didn't put trigger warnings on the suicide attempts in Leashed. I didn't put any in the revised "It" Can't be Helped. That's because they are clearly stated and the plot revolves around it: aka you should know what you signed up for. That being said, Ferine is going to be a bloodbath, and the tags do pretty much state it. But any new readers should get a fair warning:

I write angst. It's bloody and graphic. My mom wanted to be a Medical Examiner before she had kids and I grew up in a home where we watched fatal car-accident videos after dinner. I also had unlimited access to the internet in the early 2010's (if you were there, you know what I mean). I've seen countless videos on LiveWire or gore websites — saw many executions play out on my iPod screen. I have my own history of self-mutilation, and have been in scenarios where others have been hurt, too. And yeah, I know what you're thinking: that's fucked. Sure, but it is what it is.

My whole point? I kinda know what the inside of a body looks like. I know the sound someone makes when they jump off a 7 story building and hit the concrete. I was infatuated with understanding how the human body worked when I was a teen, and couple that with my mental health then = pretty accurate descriptions of where blood vessels lie and what bones are the easiest to break.

I've made a rough draft of a fight scene, just to get my toes wet. And, um... I'm sorry in advance. With the shit that happens in this fic, Rin has a bit of a sadistic streak. I'll be using way too many adjectives and I'm going to be painting the scenes with a fine paint brush.

If you are uncomfortable in the slightest about anatomy (nothing is off-limits here. *cough* ocular trauma), or don't think you'll be able to stomach a paragraph dedicated to nitty-gritty details on caving someone's face in, or don't think you'll like how in-depth I'll be on the inner workings of Rin's head as he commits murder — again, and again, and again — please don't read this.
