One late afternoon, Hound Dog was making his rounds, ensuring that every nook and cranny of the campus was secure. As he patrolled near Power Loader’s workshop, he noticed an odd sound—a mix of metallic clinking and what sounded like frustrated growls. Curiosity piqued, he approached the workshop and peeked inside.

Higari was hunched over a large piece of machinery, he cursed to himself quietly, his usually steady hands trembling slightly with frustration.

“Need some help, Maijima?” Ryo asked, his voice a low rumble.

Higari looked up, surprised to see his colleague. “Inui! Actually, yeah. This new security bot is giving me more trouble than I expected. Mind lending a hand?”

Ryo stepped into the cluttered workshop, his keen senses immediately picking up the distinct scents of oil, metal, and Higari’s own perspiration. “What’s the problem?”

“It’s the navigation system. I’ve programmed it a dozen times, but it keeps malfunctioning,” Higari explained, adjusting his head gear “I could use a fresh perspective.”

Ryo nodded, moving closer to the bot. “Let’s see what we’re dealing with.”

As they worked side by side, an easy camaraderie developed. Ryo’s sharp instincts and keen senses complemented Higari’s technical expertise perfectly. Where Higari saw lines of code and circuitry, Ryo could sense the slightest irregularities in the machine’s operation.

“Try adjusting the servo motor here,” Ryo suggested, pointing with a clawed finger. “It’s slightly off-balance.”

Higari followed his advice, and to his amazement, the bot’s movements became smoother. “You’ve got a good eye, Inui.”

“Good nose, more like,” Ryo replied with a rare smile. “You’re pretty good at this, but sometimes it helps to have a different perspective.”

Higari chuckled. “Yeah, it does. Thanks, man.”

As the evening wore on, they continued to tinker with the bot, their combined efforts gradually bringing it to full functionality. By the time they finished stars were twinkling in the night sky, the bot was patrolling the workshop flawlessly.

“We did it,” Higari said, a note of pride in his voice.

Ryo nodded, his expression satisfied. “Yeah, we did. Not bad for a couple of overworked heroes.”

Higari grinned, clapping Ryo on the back. “You know, we make a pretty good team. Maybe we should do this more often.”

Ryo’s eyes twinkled with amusement. “Maybe we should. But next time, I’ll bring the coffee.”

“Deal,” Higari laughed.

From that night on, Hound Dog and Power Loader often found themselves working together on various projects, their bond growing stronger with each challenge they overcame. They discovered that sometimes, the most unexpected partnerships could lead to the greatest successes.

In the heart of U.A. High School, amidst the trials and triumphs, a new friendship was born—one built on trust, respect, and the shared goal of making the world a safer place for the next generation of heroes.
