Erza's P.O.V

It was a sunny Sunday morning. The birds chirped rhythmically with each other; just the perfect sound to wake up to. I got off from the bed, careful not to wake up the blue headed pig sleeping on it. And as always, I looked over at the digital clock stationed on our nightstand.

Shit, it's 9:30. My work at Michael's is at 10 o'clock sharp. Oh right, I've forgotten to mention. During the past few weeks, I was secretly working for Michael (my boss, obviously). Yes, I am guilty. Escaping this shitty job just for money. I actually hesitated at first, but I just had no choice. I'm doing this for our sake.

I'm not planning to tell Jellal just yet, though. I have to have absolute timing before I spill anything out. This opportunity was for the both of us. I know he won't be glad about this, but it's the best thing I could do for us.

Michael's was just a few kilometers away; another reason as to why I chose this particular beach. Otherwise, I wouldn't know where I was headed. I started getting ready, walking into the bathroom and dressed up pretty quickly. I tiptoed all the way to my other bag; hidden behind the closet. Inside the bag was my work uniform and as expected, it was quite provocative.

I brought the bag with me all the way downstairs, placing it on the counter so I could set out food for Jellal. I just hope he wouldn't wake up too soon.

After doing the task, I ripped out a small piece of paper and wrote a note, indicating my short leave. I went out the door as quick as possible, snatching the bag with me of course. I sprinted my way to the car and drove off like there was no tomorrow.

The job only took five hours. Five painful hours, that is. I looked around to see if Jellal was in the house. Luckily he isn't at the first floor. When I finished navigating the whole area, I sneaked up to the second floor, stealthily moving around the space.

I pushed the door open ever so slightly just so I can make a crevice for me to peek from. I saw no one was present so I took the chance of entering the room. He must have went somewhere and forgot writing me a reminder. I heaved out a big sigh, picking out some pajamas and threw my uniform away to the hamper, sloppily walking to the bathroom to clean myself up.

Jellal's P.O.V.

I wondered when Erza's going home. Where was she, even? She didn't specify where she went and why. Must be some secret, huh? I guess I'll just talk to her about that mysterious issue later, then.

I hopped out of the car, taking two bags of groceries with me and vacated the house.

I climbed up the stairs to check if she was possibly home. I heard water running from the bathroom as I entered our room. She must have taken a shower; so she probably just got home then.

I plopped on the bed and closed my eyes, deciding now would be the absolute time to take a rest. But just barely a second before I closed them shut, I had a glimpse of some familiar uniform. Perhaps I didn't notice it the time I went inside the room.

I probed the clothing intently. Fuck.. This isn't some ordinary uniform. It's a Michael's uniform.

The bathroom door opened in such a bad timing, for Erza at least. Her towel was draped loosely around her scarlet hair; her robe coating her body neatly. She smiled at first, but began fading slowly as she realized what was on my palm.

"Jellal.."

"The fuck does this mean?" I said in a cool tone, but sternly.

"I had to."
