Jeonguk was in his studio, meticulously working on a tattoo for a client with a dedicated focus. Y/N sat nearby, watching him with admiration. She took out her phone and snapped a photo of him. The mask he wore seemed like an essential part of his professional demeanor rather than a mere accessory. Despite being a tattoo artist by profession, he had only one tattoo himself, and that's her name carved on his chest. She was considering getting a tattoo herself soon..
Once the session was over and the shop was quiet, Jeonguk let out a tired sigh, removed his mask, and wiped the sweat from his brow.
"Mom called me today. I have to go see her for a few weeks," he said.
"Few weeks? Why?" Y/N asked, her voice tinged with sadness. The thought of being apart from him for that long was difficult to bear.
"Not just me-you're coming too. We need to attend my cousin's wedding, and I can't leave my baby here alone. So, you're coming with me," he said firmly, cupping her face in his hands.
Y/N looked at him, concern etched on her face. "But I can't go. It's more like a family gathering, and I'd feel out of place. Besides, where would I even stay?"
Jeonguk smiled reassuringly. "You'll stay with me, of course. I'll make sure you're comfortable at my place. No more arguing about it. You're coming with me, and that's the end of it."
She hesitated, a trace of worry still in her eyes. "I just don't want to be left out..."
"You won't be," he said gently but firmly. "You'll fit right in, I promise. Okay?"
With a deep sigh, she nodded, her resistance fading as she took in his sincerity.

Time Skip - Two Days Later
Jeonguk arrived at Y/N's apartment, having packed his things. He helped her load her stuff into the trunk of his car, and they both got inside, ready to drive to his family home.
As they traveled, Y/N couldn't shake her nerves. The thought of meeting Jeonguk's parents was making her anxious.
"Are you okay?" Jeonguk asked, glancing at her.
Y/N took a deep breath. "I'm just a bit nervous. I keep wondering if your parents will like me."
Jeonguk gently squeezed her hand. "They'll love you, I promise. They're good people. If you need anything or feel uncomfortable, just tell me, okay?"
Y/N managed a small smile. "Thanks. I guess it's just a lot to take in. I'm not sure what to expect."
When they reached Jeonguk's house, Y/N's nerves were on edge. The house looked nice, but it made her feel even more anxious.
