Kwon sooyoung (Hoshi) X Lee jihoon (Woozi) from Seventeen .
---
Hoshi and Woozi had been dating for two years, a milestone marked by love, laughter, and shared dreams. Woozi, a dedicated music producer, often spent long hours in the studio, perfecting melodies and beats. Hoshi, on the other hand, owned a thriving dance studio where he poured his heart and soul into teaching and choreographing. Despite their demanding schedules, they always found time for each other, nurturing their relationship with care and understanding.
One evening, after an exhausting day at their respective studios, Hoshi and Woozi found themselves at home, ready to unwind. What started as a playful conversation soon turned into a heated argument over a trivial matter—who should wash the dishes. It was a silly disagreement, but emotions were running high, and both were tired.
"You always leave the dishes for me to do!" Hoshi exclaimed, his frustration evident.
Woozi, equally tired and irritable, snapped back, "I’ve been working all day too, Hoshi. Why do you always make it a big deal?"
The argument escalated, words were exchanged, and in a fit of anger, Woozi uttered the words that would haunt him later. "Don't talk to me ever again!"
Hoshi’s face fell, the hurt evident in his eyes. He stormed out of the room, retreating to their bedroom, his mind racing with worry. Was Woozi really going to break up with him over something so small?
The next day, Woozi tried to focus on his work, but guilt gnawed at him. He regretted his harsh words, but his pride held him back from apologizing. Instead, he convinced himself that Hoshi might be seeing someone else, a suspicion fueled by insecurity and a lack of communication. This irrational thought made him ignore Hoshi the entire day, a decision that only deepened the rift between them.
Hoshi, feeling the sting of Woozi’s cold shoulder, spiraled into self-blame. He believed he had truly hurt Woozi and that their relationship was on the verge of ending. Desperate for comfort, he called his friend DK and met up with him at a nearby bar.
DK listened patiently as Hoshi poured his heart out, downing drink after drink. "I messed up, DK. I think Woozi wants to break up with me."
DK, seeing the depth of Hoshi’s despair, tried to reassure him. "Hoshi, you and Woozi love each other. This is just a rough patch. You need to talk to him."
But Hoshi, drowning in alcohol and sorrow, couldn't see past his guilt. As the night wore on, he became increasingly intoxicated. DK, ever the supportive friend, decided it was time to take Hoshi home.
When they arrived at Hoshi and Woozi’s apartment, DK helped Hoshi inside. Woozi, who had been pacing the living room, worried sick, immediately noticed Hoshi’s drunken state. His heart sank at the sight.
Hoshi, tears streaming down his face, muttered incoherently about how much he loved Woozi and how he would never leave him. DK gently handed Hoshi over to Woozi, who nodded in gratitude.
"I’ll leave you two to talk," DK said softly before leaving.
Woozi guided Hoshi to the couch, trying to comfort him. "Hoshi, what’s going on? Why did you drink so much?"
Hoshi, in his drunken haze, pushed Woozi away. "Stay away! I have a boyfriend, and he wouldn’t like this."
Woozi froze, stunned by Hoshi’s words. Despite his state, Hoshi’s loyalty shone through. It was a moment of clarity for Woozi. All his doubts and fears melted away, replaced by a deep sense of love and relief.
"Hoshi," Woozi whispered, tears welling up in his eyes. "It's me, Woozi. I’m your boyfriend."
Hoshi blinked, trying to focus. Recognition slowly dawned, and he threw himself into Woozi’s arms, sobbing uncontrollably. "I’m so sorry, Woozi. I thought I hurt you. I thought you wanted to break up."
Woozi held Hoshi tightly, his own tears mingling with Hoshi’s. "I’m sorry too, Hoshi. I said things I didn’t mean. I was scared and insecure. But I love you, and I’ll never let you go."
They stayed like that for a long time, holding each other and letting the emotional storm pass. Woozi gently helped Hoshi to bed, watching over him as he finally fell asleep.
The next morning, Hoshi woke up with a pounding headache and a flood of memories from the previous night. He turned to see Woozi sitting beside him, looking worried.
"How are you feeling?" Woozi asked softly.
"Like I’ve been hit by a truck," Hoshi replied with a weak smile. "But I’m glad you’re here."
Woozi reached out, taking Hoshi’s hand. "I’ve been thinking, and I want to make it up to you. How about we take a day off and spend it together?"
Hoshi’s eyes lit up with hope. "You mean it?"
"Absolutely," Woozi said, smiling. "Get dressed. I have a surprise for you."
Curiosity piqued, Hoshi got ready, and they left the apartment. Woozi drove them to a beautiful park, where he had arranged a cozy picnic. A blanket was spread out under a large oak tree, with a basket filled with Hoshi’s favorite foods and a small bouquet of flowers.
Hoshi’s eyes widened in surprise. "Woozi, this is amazing!"
Woozi pulled Hoshi close, kissing him gently. "You deserve the best, Hoshi. I’m sorry for everything. I love you more than anything."
Tears of joy filled Hoshi’s eyes. "I love you too, Woozi. Thank you."
They spent the day enjoying each other’s company, talking, laughing, and rekindling their love. The park was their sanctuary, a place where time seemed to stand still, and all that mattered was their love for each other.
As the sun began to set, Woozi took Hoshi’s hand and led him to a small gazebo nearby. "There’s one more thing," Woozi said, pulling out a small box from his pocket.
Hoshi’s breath caught in his throat as Woozi knelt down on one knee. "Hoshi, these past two years have been the best of my life. I know we’ve had our ups and downs, but I can’t imagine my life without you. Will you marry me?"
Hoshi’s heart swelled with emotion. "Yes, Woozi! A thousand times yes!"
Woozi slipped the ring onto Hoshi’s finger, and they embraced, their love stronger than ever. As the stars began to twinkle above them, they knew that whatever challenges lay ahead, they would face them together, with love, trust, and an unbreakable bond.
