-So Onyx how will we get to the portal if the....-Nix was asking him when he interupted her

-First you need to get more energy and rest, then we'll think about- he replied

-Hhhmmm- Nico mumbled he was clearly jealos

-Everything ok Nico?- Mandy asked

-Yea..- he mumbled

-I'll go make something for dinner- Onyx says

-Okay!- Nix replies

-Mandy, Nix I don't trust that guy...-he says

-Well we cant judge him. We just met him- Nixo reminds them

-Yes I know but still. He seems like he knows something and he doesnt want us to know about- he remarks

-I made some some pasta for us!- Onyx called

-Coming!- Nix shouted

They glanced at eachother and came to the kitchen to eat

-Do you like the pasta?- he asks

-Yes! It's great!- Mandy cheered

-I'm glad you like it!- he giggled

-Don't you like pasta Nico?- Onyx remarked

-No, I like pasta- he spoke

-Oh that's good to hear I thought you didn't like it- he mumbled

-It's really good. I never ate pasta like this- Nico added

After lunch they had a movie night, played board games and video games

-I'm gettin tired- Mandy muttered

-Me to Mands- Nix added

-Come i'll show you where you can sleep- Onyx sugested

They follow him to to a big bedroom

-You can sleep here, I'll sleep on the couch- he stated

-Thank you Onyx. You already did so much to help us- Nix reported

-That's what friends do, right?- he giggled- Good night!

-Night!- Mandy called as he was wakling out of the room

-Do you trust him guys?- Nico asks them

-Well yea. He did so much to help us- Nix mumbled

-And if he was bad he would tell us about the king. And did he?- Mandy whispered

-Well...no- Nico responded

-See he's good!- Nix answeared

-Nix shhhh!- Mandy hissed

-Ups sorry- she whispered

-Good night guys- she said

-Night- Nico amd Mandy replied

After some time

-Mmmmm why do I have to wake up in the middle of the night again. Huh! What was that- Mandy wondered- I should go check it out

She climed out of the bed and out the room. She was Onyx

-Onyx? Why aren't you sleeping? It's 1 in the morning

- Oh I...I can't sleep. It started when I was 5. I was sleeping in my room then i sudenlly woke up, I tried to sleep but i couldn't and I told my parents about it. The next day they took me to the doctor he said it's very rare for a kid to experience that. He couldn't do anything about it. so it stayed like this

-Oh dear... Aren't you tired?

-No, not at all actually. I feel totaly energized

They sit in silence

-May I ask about your familly? I see you have a familly photo over there

- Ah yes.... Well my parents died when war broke out. We lived in another sicy and we wanted to come to a safer place. We were almost at this house when my parents saw the guards comming, I guess they thought our parents were spys and they killed them in front of my and my sisters eyes.....

-Oh dear....

-Me and my sister grew up here in this house, she moved out when i finished 14 she said" you're big enought to take care, remembre i'll always love you". From that day I neever saw her again. Maybe she has a familly, I don't know but she'll always be in my heart

-That sniff sniff was beautiful- she mutered

-Do you want a tissue?

-Yes, please

Onyx gives her a box of tissues. Mandy blows her nose

-I better try to sleep again, see you in the morning- she says before going to bed

Onyx smiles gently and lays on the couch, thinking about his past
