On a moonless night that's cold with wind blowing through swaying away the leaves of the huge trees of the dense forest, the sky filled with black thunderous clouds which roared mightily, rain poured heavily wetting the ground making it turn muddy, the scent of soil filling the atmosphere

In the middle of the dense forest, a car with its headlights turned on passed "this project is such a hassle, why do they need it so soon?" Mumbled a man in his mid 20s, his hands on the steering wheel, his eyes focused on the road occasionally drifting sideways, an eerie shiver they felt every minute, all but one, yn.

"Come on mark, we can do this I know it's all of a sudden, but i trust you, our project will be a success" she mumbled grasping his palm since she could sense his discomfort, his cheeks tinted slightly pink while he thanked her

"When will we reach there?" Asked a woman feeling annoyed as she cross her arms against her chest "in three hours? This forest is quite large, but it's the only route, aera" Jackson replied, "wake me up when we reach there" spoke hyungwon as yn let out a small chuckle "this sleeping koala" aera mumbled as he cling on to her arm

Mark's grip on yn's palm tightened with each thunder that roared as she slightly grazed her thumb over his knuckles to calm him down because she knew he was afraid of thunders

She stared outside through the window while she squint her eyes blinking multiple times in disbelief "what did I see now?" She mumbled to herself feeling a dark shadow staring at her from deep within the woods, an eerie shiver passing through Jackson's spine "I don't like this forest" he whispered, lightning flashed through right infront of their car as mark push the break, the vehicle stopping abruptly while everyone were pushed forward from their seat "ouch" exclaimed aera while rubbing her nose as her nose hit the back of the driver's seat

"What?" Mark exclaimed as he withdraw his foot from the break yet the car didn't start, his brows knitted in confusion, he twist the keys trying to start the engine yet failed, his eyes falling upon the sign "fuel empty" he cursed under his breath informing about the situation while Jackson fist out his phone "there must be some motels here" he mumbled searching through his phone yet frowned "I can't find anything, but there's a house here, a mansion owned by..The Jeons, it's just 500m away from our current location"

"Great, let's stay there, I don't think it's safe out here" yn spoke while everyone agreed, her heart uneasy as she felt a piercing gaze that followed them from the very start, distant howls of wolves heard from the opposite directions they are supposed to go to as they hurried out of their car, rain pouring down heavily on them

Their steps quick as they ran together towards the location, it can be said they were foolish or naive enough, or simply ignorant failing to use their mind, the question that lingered "how could his phone work in the dense forest where there's no signal?"

There they saw it, an abandoned mansion right in the middle of no where, it was huge and looked alright in condition yet it felt frightening to even stare at it, with hesitation they walked, now right infront of the door as they gulp down the lump in their throat gesturing at yn to knock

Yn gave a slight nod as she knock at the door, the sound echoing even through the noise of the thunders, they waited in patience dripping wet from the rain and the door did open but with a creepy sound, as they stared at the pair of shoes, their gaze slowly going towards the owner's face, a soft gasp leaving their lips to see the most ethereal man infront of them with a cold yet curious look on his face "yes?" He asked, his voice melodious.

Yn cleared her throat noticing the others too busy checking him out "Hello, can we stay over at your place tonight? It's raining heavily and our car ran out of fuel" she asked in her polite tone as the man just stared at her for a while, his gaze locked into her eyes, after what seemed like an hour but actually few minutes, he finally gave a slight nod, getting away from the door as she bowed at him getting inside along with her friends

"What's your name?" He asked yn as she replied "Yn, and you?" He just gave a slight nod "Jeon Jungkook" she just nodded while hugging herself for warmth while the others stared at the building inside, cobwebs on the black walls, lavish paintings which rather spoke about various things yet some which appeared new compared to others spoke of gore and blood

"Would you like to drink coffee?" He asked as they gave a slight nod "are you okay with it?" Yn asked, hesitance evident in her tone as he shot her a smile "Don't worry, it's okay and you can go to the fireplace since you all must be cold,it's that room" he mumbled pointing at a room as everyone thanked him "Let me help you with the coffee" yn suggested as he gave a slight nod smiling softly walking into the kitchen as she followed him

There was complete silence as he focused on the coffee, stirring up the powder after boiling the milk while she pour the sugar stirring up the coffee he has made "thank you" he smiled as she shot him back a smile, the wood creaking against their feet while he stared at her back, the coffee trays in their hands

"Here" she hand over the coffee to them taking her coffee from jungkook's tray, aera's eyes drifting over to somewhere as she nudge her friends pointing at jungkook's wrist "t-that" she stuttered
