Chapter 3: The Proposition
The Beastgod took Rose on a tour of his amazing palace. He showed her beautiful rooms, sparkling fountains, and stunning gardens. But Rose could sense that something was troubling him.
"Rose, our world is in trouble," he said, his voice serious. "Our people are sick, and our land is dying. But I believe you can help us."
Rose was curious. "How can I help?" she asked.
The Beastgod's eyes lit up with excitement. "You know so much about herbs and medicine. I think you can help us find new ways to heal our people and our land."
Rose was hesitant. She didn't know if she was up for such a big task. But the Beastgod's enthusiasm was infectious.
"Come with me," he said, leading her to a window that looked out over a beautiful plain. "This is the Wysteria Plains, where our ancestors used to harness the power of nature to create amazing things. I want you to join me on a journey to rediscover those secrets."
Rose was torn. Part of her wanted to stay in her own world, where things were familiar and safe. But another part of her was drawn to the Beastgod's passion and the thrill of adventure.
"What do you say, Rose?" the Beastgod asked, his eyes shining with hope. "Will you join me on this journey and help me save our world?"
Rose took a deep breath and made her decision. "Yes," she said finally. "I'll do it."
