Faye stood fuming in the security line, her long black hair falling over her shoulders as she tapped her foot impatiently. Traffic had been a nightmare, delaying her arrival at the airport for Ize's wedding. As she finally cleared security, she hurried towards the gate, determined not to miss her flight.

Meanwhile, across the bustling terminal, Yoko navigated through the crowd with confident ease. At 22, she had a knack for charming her way through any situation, but today her mind was fixed on Marissa's wedding. Dodging around a group of tourists, she glanced at her watch and quickened her pace towards the gate.

Both women arrived at the gate nearly simultaneously, each eager to board the plane. They dropped off their suitcases and hurried to find their seats, only to stop short in front of seat 15F.

Faye frowned, checking her boarding pass again. "Excuse me, but you're in my seat."

Yoko held up her boarding pass defensively. "No, this is my seat. It says 15F."

Faye's annoyance flared. "Well, it's also my seat. There must be some mistake."

Yoko's eyebrows furrowed. "I don't see how that's possible. They wouldn't assign the same seat to two different people."

Before they could argue further, a flight attendant intervened, attempting to mediate the situation. After a tense exchange and some rearranging of passengers, they ended up begrudgingly seated next to each other for the duration of the flight.

The atmosphere between them was icy as the plane took off. Faye stared out the window, seething silently, while Yoko tapped impatiently on her phone, trying to ignore the tension. Eventually, the silence became unbearable.

"I can't believe this," Faye muttered, unable to contain her frustration. "Of all the seats on the plane, I had to end up next to you."

Yoko glanced up, her irritation matching Faye's. "Believe me, the feeling is mutual. I just want to get to the resort without any more drama."

Faye scoffed. "Well, you certainly brought enough drama with you."

Yoko bristled. "Excuse me? I didn't ask for this mix-up."

The flight attendant intervened again, sensing the escalating tension. "Ladies, please try to keep it down. We'll be landing shortly."

They fell into a strained silence for the remainder of the flight, barely acknowledging each other's presence. When the plane finally touched down and they disembarked, they hurriedly grabbed their suitcases from the carousel, not bothering to check the tags properly.

Outside the airport, they both rushed towards the line of waiting taxis, each desperate to get to their destination. As luck would have it, they reached for the same taxi simultaneously.

"Hey, I was here first," Faye snapped, her patience worn thin after the turbulent flight.

Yoko's eyes narrowed. "I need to get to the resort. And I'm not waiting for another taxi."

Faye folded her arms stubbornly. "Well, neither am I. Find your own taxi."

Yoko hesitated, weighing her options. She squared her shoulders defiantly. "Fine, we'll share it then."

Faye shook her head incredulously. "Absolutely not. I'll take the next one."

Yoko's tone turned sharp. "You know, you could stand to be a little more considerate. It's not all about you."

Faye's jaw clenched. "And you could stand to learn some manners."

Before the argument could escalate further, Faye sighed heavily. "Fine, take the taxi. I'll catch another."

Yoko hesitated, surprised by Faye's unexpected concession. "Are you sure?"

"Just go," Faye said tersely, waving her off.

As Yoko climbed into the taxi and it drove away, Faye stood on the curb, feeling a mix of relief and lingering annoyance. She watched the taxi disappear into the traffic, wondering how her day had taken such an unexpected turn. Little did she know, this chance encounter was just the beginning of a weekend filled with surprises and revelations at the wedding of their best friends—Marissa and Ize, who were marrying each other.

Yoko stepped into the lavish resort lobby, still seething from her encounter with Faye and the chaotic flight. She scanned the area, trying to find Marissa amidst the bustling crowd of wedding guests and tourists. Spotting her best friend across the room, Yoko forced a smile and made her way over.

"Marissa!" Yoko greeted, her annoyance momentarily masked by the excitement of seeing her friend.

Marissa, radiant in her bridal glow, embraced Yoko warmly. "Yoko! I'm so glad you made it! How was your flight?"

Yoko sighed, deciding to keep it vague. "Oh, you know, a bit rough. But I'm here, that's what matters."

Marissa raised an eyebrow, sensing something amiss but choosing not to press. "Well, come on, let me show you to your room. We've got the whole weekend ahead of us!"

Yoko followed Marissa through the resort, trying to shake off her irritation. As they reached her room, Yoko had a bad feeling, suddenly dreading what awaited her inside. She opened the door and stepped in, only to realize that the suitcase sitting on the bed was not hers.

"Oh, come on!" Yoko exclaimed in frustration, kicking the suitcase lightly. She rifled through it, finding unfamiliar clothes and personal items. "Great, just great. Now what?"

Marissa frowned sympathetically. "Oh no, did you grab the wrong suitcase?"

Yoko nodded, feeling her frustration mount. "Apparently. This day just keeps getting better."

Marissa chuckled softly. "Don't worry, we'll figure it out. You can borrow some of my clothes for now. Let's go get you something more resort-appropriate."

Meanwhile, downstairs, Faye entered the resort with a scowl on her face, still irritated by the memory of the annoying girl from the airport. She found Ize waiting for her in the lobby, a wide smile on her face as she hugged Faye tightly.

"Faye! You made it!" Ize exclaimed happily.

Faye returned the hug, feeling a bit of her annoyance melt away in Ize's presence. "Yeah, finally. Traffic was a nightmare, and I had to deal with this girl at the airport who couldn't seem to grasp the concept of assigned seats."

Ize laughed, shaking her head. "Oh no, I hope she didn't ruin your day completely."

Faye shrugged. "Nah, she was just... annoying. Cute, but annoying."

Ize grinned mischievously. "Ah, cute, huh? Maybe you'll warm up to her."

Faye rolled her eyes playfully. "Not likely."

Ize led Faye to her room, which happened to be right next to Yoko's, unbeknownst to either of them. Faye dropped her suitcase on the bed and began unpacking, only to discover that the contents were not familiar.

"Seriously?" Faye muttered under her breath, frustration building anew. She dug through the unfamiliar clothes and toiletries, realizing she had taken someone else's suitcase in her rush to leave the airport.

Ize peeked in from the doorway, concern etched on her face. "Everything okay?"

Faye sighed heavily. "I grabbed the wrong suitcase. This just keeps getting better."

Ize chuckled sympathetically. "Looks like we're having a rough start. Well, we can figure it out. Let's see if we can find some spare clothes for you to borrow."

Faye nodded gratefully, appreciating Ize's calm demeanor amidst her own irritation. "Thanks, Ize. Sorry for being such a downer."

Ize waved off her apology. "Hey, we're here to celebrate. Let's not let a suitcase mix-up ruin our weekend."

As they set off to find some temporary clothing solutions, neither Faye nor Yoko realized that their paths had crossed once again, and that their weekend at Marissa and Ize's wedding was about to become more intertwined than they could have imagined.
