Marissa and Ize sat in the resort cafe, enjoying a leisurely lunch as they discussed the upcoming wedding festivities. The tropical ambiance of the resort provided a picturesque backdrop, making their conversation all the more enjoyable.

"Faye really needs this getaway," Ize said, taking a sip of her iced tea. "Her breakup a few months ago really did a number on her. She hasn't been herself since."

Marissa nodded, her eyes thoughtful. "And Yoko has been single for a while. She's always so busy with work that she hardly has time to meet anyone. I've been trying to introduce her to someone new for ages, but something always comes up."

Ize's eyes lit up with a mischievous glint. "You know, I think Faye and Yoko would make a great match. They're both smart, strong-willed, and could really balance each other out."

Marissa grinned. "I've been thinking the same thing. The romantic atmosphere of this resort could be the perfect setting to bring them together."

Ize laughed. "We should definitely try to introduce them. Hopefully, the universe will cooperate this time."

"Well, they're both here now," Marissa said, determination in her voice. "And we're going to make it happen."

Meanwhile, in their respective rooms, Faye and Yoko were attempting to settle in. Faye rummaged through the clothes Ize had offered her, but nothing seemed to fit. She sighed in frustration and resigned herself to wearing her baggy sweatshirt and sweatpants. "Just my luck," she muttered under her breath.

In the room next door, Yoko was having better luck. Marissa had provided a cute dress that fit her perfectly. As she admired herself in the mirror, she couldn't help but feel a bit more optimistic about the evening. She smoothed down the fabric and took a deep breath before heading downstairs to meet her friends.

As fate would have it, they both stepped out of their rooms at the same time.

"You again?" Faye said, eyes widening in disbelief.

"The hell," Yoko replied, equally surprised.

They walked toward the elevator, neither willing to give way. When the doors opened, they both tried to enter simultaneously, resulting in a brief struggle.

“Can you give me some space?” Faye snapped.

“You’re the one hogging the entrance,” Yoko retorted, pushing past her.

"Move over," Faye snapped.

"You move over," Yoko retorted, both of them barely squeezing through the door together.

The elevator ride was awkward and tense, the small space amplifying their mutual irritation. As they reached the ground floor, neither wanted to go first.

"After you," Faye said sarcastically.

"No, after you," Yoko shot back.

“You should show more respect to your elders,” Faye added with a smirk.

Before the argument could escalate further, a random passerby, noticing their heated exchange, chuckled and shook his head. "You two sound like an old married couple."

"We're not married!" Faye and Yoko snapped in unison, sending the passerby recoiling in shock. They continued to glare at him before once again trying to exit the elevator at the same time, struggling to fit through.

They noticed they were walking in the same direction, which only fueled their annoyance.

"Why are you following me?" Faye asked, her voice tinged with exasperation.
