Androniki: The mafia princess

Chapter 4

As they arrived at the mafia base Androniki scanned her hand at the entrance to get in. As she and Kiara walked down the hallway to get to the gym, people stopped their discussions in fear and most of them lowered their head mumbling as they passed.

Even though they were at the mafia's gym almost every day for the last five years Kiara still hasn't got used to the way that people reacted to Androniki. She walked behind her shyly without wanting to attract attention to herself.

Androniki started walking quicker knowing that her best friend was uncomfortable. As they entered the gym Kiara whispered

"Thank you"

Androniki just smiled at her and went on the changing room. After a few minutes she walked out with her training outfit.

After Androniki, Kiara changed into a similar pink outfit and they started their training routine. Without realising it the gym has started to gather more and more people. Androniki looked around to see if someone from her family was there but she didn't see anyone.

"What time is it?" she wandered.

"Oh... It's about five o'clock. Why?" Kiara answered

"My cousins should be here by now"

"Maybe they are busy."

"Yeah..."

"Everything is fine don't worry so much"

"You are probably right" Androniki said and smiled worrying

"I'll go get changed. We are here for quite sometime and I have homework to do"

"OK Kiara. Just talk to me before you leave so I can make someone go with you"

"No. It's fine Andro."

"I will still tell Aj to go with you"

"It's not worth arguing, is it?"

"I will not change my mind"

"Fine..." Kiara said rolling her eyes.

"Did you just roll your eyes at me?"

Kiara chuckled and many people who overheard the conversation looked at Kiara terrified. A young man, at his early twenty's, approached Kiara and told her

"You are probably new here, but disrespecting a Ralon can get you seriously punished"

Kiara laughed at him and stared to walk away. The man grabbed her hand and said

"Didn't you just hear me? Apologise for your actions or you will get punished."

Androniki saw that and asked the young man

"Who will punish her? You?"

"If you ask me. Yes"

"Get your hand off of her"

"But she disrespected you"

"Get. Your. Hand. Off. Of. Her. Right. Now"

The man let Kiara go and she ran next to Androniki.

"Now tell me. Who are you?"

"Brian Tanner."

"So you are the one in charge of warehouse protection."

"Yes"

"..." Androniki stayed silent and raised an eyebrow at his response.

"Yes, boss" he continued

"Good... Now tell me, Brian... Do you usually touch women without proper consent?"

"No, boss"

"So... Why did you?"
