KEONS POV

Location: Tallahassee, FL

Keon Coleman. If you're a football fan or even a basketball fan you may have heard the name. With his tall, Lengthy , muscular frame and his big brown eyes, his big lips, his handsome face, and his purely hilarious personality, he was definitely someone to keep your eye on. See Keon was one of few star players at FSU. Standing at 6'4, weighing 215, he was one of the best wide receivers in the country, and also a projected future number one draft pick in the NFL. Born and raised in Opelousas , Louisiana , one of the most dangerous cities in the state , the bright eyed boy had one dream, to make it to the NFL to not only elevate himself but to also help his mother and his siblings. Coming from a single parent household and raised by his mother and his grandmother by the side of his 4 siblings which included 2 older brothers, 1 older sister, and 1 younger sister , family was everything to him.

Which is why it was tough on him when he finally graduated high school and was on his way to college. He always said that he wanted to get away from home, away from the streets, the violence, and the distractions. He wanted to go somewhere where he could grow as a man , and become disciplined in his craft. The boy attended Michigan state university for 2 years where he played football and basketball. Shortly after a brawl that had took place in one of the tunnels during a game and also the other unsettling events and distractions that he was exposed to he decided to take his talents to Tallahassee to play for the Florida State Seminoles. As soon as he hit the scene he was loved. With his bashful, charming, and witty personality and his looks and ball handling abilities he was definitely the talk of the town.

Even though there was a lot of hype around him he didn't let it affect him. The same person you saw in pressers and interviews was the same man you saw in person. It wasn't an act or for show , he was a genuine person who had been through a lot in his life. Although he was focused on his academics and his athletic duties he did tend to have a wandering eye. Although it was never anything serious , what could you expect from a hormonal , young , college student who was finally on his own. It seemed like he was a magnet for not only sports fans and the students on campus but also women. So it was no shock that he was very interested in meeting Brenae's best friend Juniper. Although he wasn't looking for anything serious maybe something could come from it. Maybe he could find someone that didn't just want to know the athlete , but someone who wanted to know the real him. Someone who he could share his happiness , his sadness , his wins , and losses, and fears, with. Someone who he could finally call his own.

Growing up with an absent father did take a role on him. It tinkered with his ability to become emotionally involved with Any one. He never wanted to give more than he received out of fear that he would be left. So because of that he kept to himself and stayed out the way. He did however have a nice group of friends and would step out every now and then just to show face. But deep down inside he had his own issues. No matter how many big smiles he put on his face there were still unresolved issues that he had with himself. He looked to older male figures in his life as role models. From his older brother, coaches, and trainers he tried to soak in any piece of wisdom they spoke to him. He was quick to listen and slow to speak. Which was a good quality to have for someone who never let anybody get to close to him, and for someone who never really talked about his personal life. It was a tactic he liked to use to deflect from digging into raw spot in his heart that he made sure that he kept locked up. Maybe Juniper would be the one to finally unlock that soft spot within him.

(Let me know how I did with this one. There's not much info on him personally so I'm working with what I could find. Like and follow and comment please 🫶🏾)
