"Maybe... I'm dreaming?"

It makes sense, right? There's no fucking way that this is real.

Staring at his reflection on the glass window of his room made him think he's hallucinating.

Pale skin, skinny body, dark circles under his blue eyes, and unkempt brown hair. This boy is definitely young. Too young, he may add.

After all, he's already nearing thirty. At least, he's supposed to.

Right. This isn't real.

"Haha... Hahahaha... Hahahahaha!" Nicholas laughed like a madman in front of the window. "Right, right. No way!"

He took a step back but since he didn't see the dirty clothes on the floor, he slipped and fell on his back with a loud thud.

"Ugh..."

His head hit the wooden floor as if to wake him up to reality. It's as if the world is telling him that he wasn't dreaming and this is real.

It took him a few seconds to accept the truth, before he slowly sat up and sighed.

"Fuck."

I really died back then.

It was true.

Nicholas closed his eyes as if trying to erase the painful feeling that he kept remembering.

The feeling of the knife digging into his neck made him shuddered. He remembered his eyes widening in shock as he fell to his knees. He could still vividly remember the look on the perpetrator's face.

He seemed surprised.

Nicholas understood that the other didn't really meant to stabbed him that day.

Like hell he understood!

Oh, you'e surpised?! Well, how do you think I feel?! Try getting stabbed in the neck! Let's see if you'll be surprised!

"W-who are you?"

Even when blood kept flowing from his neck, and he's starting to lose his senses, Nicholas gave him a side eye. His hand reached out to the other wanting to smack him in the head.

Motherfucker, what do you mean 'Who are you?'?! I'm supposed to be asking that question! Who the fuck are you?! Why on earth did you stabbed me?! Be honest with me. You're on drugs, are you?

The perpetrator took a few steps to avoid his hand. "No, no! What have I done?!"

Yeah, you piece of shit! What have you done?! Also, call me a fucking ambulance! I'm about to die here man!

In the end, he died. That cowardly dog run away after seeing him close to death.

Then...

What 'then'?! There's no 'then'! He died, that's it. End of the story.

Or it should've ended there.
