13 | Jake - win-win ending

It was a Wednesday at school like every other day. Your best friend Jake and you were walking back inside as you spent the break outside.

The two of you walked towards your locker first since it was close to the entrance on the west wing.

As you just closed it again after putting a few books into your backpack, your high school's popular dude called Heeseung was standing right next to you once again.

A sigh left your mouth: "What do you want, Hansel?"

Jake had to chuckle and stood next to you as he gave Heeseung an annoyed look.

Heeseung bit his lip and smirked: "It's Heeseung and well, how about you and I? Friday night at the party?"

"Nah, not happening."

"I'll pick you up then?~", he tilted his head.

You grabbed Jake's arm and pulled him past Heeseung.

He shouted: "I'll see you there then!"

You rolled your eyes: "He's never going to get it, is he?"

Jake sighed: "I guess not?... How is he even so popular? Makes no sense."

"Well... I mean, he does look good."

"You think? Hm, haven't noticed.", Jake said rather unimpressed.

You just chuckled and walked with him towards his locker.

As he got a few books, you looked at your phone: "But we're not going to this party though, are we?"

"I mean, we don't have to but I'd love to see you reject him once again."

You rolled your eyes jokingly: "Yeah, right."

"Come on, why don't we just go and have fun?"

"Since when are parties your thing? Aren't you rather busy with a science project of yours?"

"Well, I can make an exception but it's not like you're one to talk, you know.", he took your hand and slightly pulled you as he walked in front of you towards your next classroom.

You had to laugh: "Fine fine, you're right. But okay, let's go."

"Yess!"

And so, time went by and it was Friday evening already. You just got ready as you put on a beautiful red dress and some nice shoes.

You just walked downstairs as the doorbell rang. "I'll get it!", you shouted and quickly opened the door.

Smiling brightly and looking handsome as hell, Jake stood in front of the door looking at you in adoration. "Woah, you look so beautiful!"

You had to smile shyly as you usually didn't wear any dresses.

"Thank you, Jake! But look at you, you look like such a gentleman!"

You also had to smile more as you two stared at one another.

"I totally am one~ soo, ready?"

"Ready!"

A few minutes later and the two of you entered the party that was already full of people and blasting music.

"Come, let's find a comfortable spot first?", Jake asked and you nodded.

So, he took your hand and walked in front of you to find a good place.

You two found a couch and got comfortable. You two looked around to look at some of the already drunk people and others dancing, making out or playing drinking games.
