How to make one (not as potent): Grab an egg and poke a hole into the egg as thin as you can. Place the egg in a safe, open to the air container (a shoebox with holes punched in it) and let it sit for a couple of weeks. Theoretically, the longer you let it sit, the better, but eventually the egg will dry out, so be careful. This uses the bad smell of rotten eggs, caused by sulfur in the proteins to turn into hydrogen sulfide gas, which has a pungent smell.
