"Ouch, that was an epic escape, right Kook?" Jimin groaned as he clung to the mountain's edge while Jungkook scaled the road, finally reaching safety. Setting their backpacks and tools on the main road they had climbed from, Jungkook replied, "Yes, that was intense. How did they find our hideout? Damn!"
"Remember, the cops are always one step ahead, but we need to stay ahead of them to avoid getting caught," Jimin said, spotting a truck approaching. He quickly hurled a steel rod through the air, striking the driver squarely in the forehead.
"Nice shot!" Jungkook commented, impressed.
Jimin grinned as they climbed into the truck. He started the engine, and they sped off, continuing their escape.
Meanwhile, Taehyung and his team reached the other side of their hideout and sealed it. They collected all evidence, including tools and fingerprints, and sent them to the forensic department.
"Finally, we need to move this to headquarters for a deeper analysis," Taehyung instructed the officer scanning the investigation blueprint.
Jin, looking frustrated, exclaimed, "It’s been a hell of a time!"
Yoongi added, "But those killers weren’t fools—they sensed us immediately."
Namjoon, reloading his gun, said, "So, what’s the next plan?"
"If you’re planning something, keep it quiet. The public might leak details about the investigation," Jin advised reluctantly.
Namjoon criticized Taehyung, "This is Taehyung’s fault for not securing the investigation details properly. Now we’re all being blamed for losing the killers."
Jin, raising his voice, scolded, "Enough blaming each other. This town is littered with corpses, and we’re arguing instead of focusing on protecting our citizens."
The headquarters erupted in frustration and infighting among the cops, a reflection of the growing chaos in their efforts to manage the investigation.
"Fine, let’s dig deeper into the investigation details we might have missed," Hoseok said, examining the data in front of him.
"So, our next target is also a girl. Who could she be?" Jungkook sighed.
Jimin pointed to a girl walking along the road with her phone in hand. "Follow her quietly and kidnap her."
"Always remember, beautiful girls are often drawn to danger," Jimin warned as Jungkook slipped out of the truck. Jimin parked it discreetly by the roadside, waiting for Jungkook’s return.
"This will be our first beautiful victim," Jungkook whispered to himself as he silently followed the girl.
