I wrote this is when i was 10 on notes and it originally was separated into 5 chunky paragraphs 😭😭I've edited the paragraphs so now it'll be SLIGHTLY better to look at lol
Once upon a time, in a land far away there lived a king who ruled his kingdom. One day something awful happened, the kingdom was struck by a terrible earthquake that broke almost everything. The day just after that incident some rumours started, the rumours were that the dark elves had awoken from their deep slumber for 100 years...
Then just after those terrible incidents something amazing happened, the king and his queen had a daughter, and her name was Lily. It was 3 years later and on Lily's 3rd birthday she was kidnapped by a mysterious figure. After that sad day, the kingdom as back in its gloominess.
It was 4 years after Lily was kidnapped and she was still nowhere to be found so the king made a very brave decision, "My fellow kingdom I know we have searched everywhere for my daughter, but we haven't searched the forbidden forest and the mystical mountains, so I am going to send some brave people to search there. If you want to volunteer, then you may notify my guards at the front of my castle. Thank you." bellowed the king and he walked back into his castle.
Although the king's voice was brave the inside of him was the opposite. "Oh, how are we going to find her my dear?" cried the king." I do not know, but we must. Right?" replied the queen in a hollow voice and the room fell silent. After a day of people volunteering 9 people were chosen and they left to the forbidden forest.
As they walked into the forest the forest for a little while one of the volunteers stuttered "W-where d-did B-Bob go?" but no one seemed to know." Maybe he got kidnapped by the naughty fairies?" suggested one of the other volunteers, "You lot will you stop talking nonsense, I'm trying to see where we are?" grumbled the guard who was the leader. Then suddenly everyone disappeared...
Far away in the mystical mountains there was the long lost princess, Lily, she was stuck inside a cave that the evil witch that had kidnapped her had placed her inside.
"WHEN ARE YOU LETTING ME OUT!" shouted Lily, but because the evil witch had placed a cloth on her mouth it so sounded like "EN ARE U ETTING E UT!"
But the witch just cackled and said, "You pathetic little girl, do you think I'm even going to do that, you are just my part of my big plan to get the king and kill him so I can steal his kingdom! Ha! Your father thinks you're in the forbidden forests and has sent some people there and now my naughty fairies are destroying those people of his and soon the king will think it's strange that the volunteers he has sent into the forest aren't back yet and then he will go into the forest himself and he doesn't even know it's part of my plan if he doesn't come, will flood his kingdom with lava. All done!"
And then the witch took off the cloth that was on Lily right now and placed a new one on Lily tried her hardest to take the cloth off but her hands were tied to the chair so she couldn't do anything. Then everything went dark, pitch black...
When Lily woke up, she found herself in the same cave but tied up to a chair, suddenly she remembered what the witch had said, and she was trying her hardest to free her wrist from the rope. "Twist, twist, free my wrist. Twist, twist, free my wrist." muttered Lily, this was a trick her mother had taught her if she ever came into a situation like this.
Then finally Lily's wrist was free, so she undid the knot on her legs and ran out of the gloomy cave. When Lily came out of the cave she ran as fast as lightning, but the ground was shaking so much she could barely walk that meant the evil witch was probably getting the volcano ready.
Then suddenly there was a big BANG and Lily flew up to the sky, just when she thought she was going to die something unexpected happened. Lily was saved by something or someone. "Wh-what just happened!" exclaimed Lily, she looked around and felt something on her back... Lily had grown wings! "This is amazing!" shouted Lily and she quickly flew off to warn the kingdom. On her way Lily saw some dark elves surrounding a volcano. "Huh, that must be the volcano the evil witch might make erupt." said Lily in a quiet voice.
Then suddenly she had a brilliant idea but her idea disappeared when she saw a dark elf move closer to her and closer, but the dark elf just looked around and walked off, then she heard one of them say "Master said that the little girl escaped and that we should erupt the volcano soon." "Ok," replied another, "How do we know where she is?" questioned a quite short elf. "I know, we make her come out." smirked the tall one and they all walked over to the volcano getting ready to erupt it...
Then Lily suddenly got another brilliant idea, so she did what she just did... "Hey you! If you're looking for me then here I am. Ha! You can't get me!" grinned Lily and she led them away from the volcano. When Lily had lost the dark elves, she quickly flew to the kingdom to warn them in case one of the elves got back to the volcano.
When Lily arrived, she quickly flew up to the castle to find the king, when Lily went inside the big castle doors, she found her mother and father standing right in front of her. "Mother! Father! The evil witch might erupt the volcano up there, so we need to be aware!" cried Lily. Lily's parents said "How are you here? Oh yes, the witch, we already have her locked in a dungeon so there is no reason to worry now." And Lily hugged her parents as tight as she could.
