She glanced at the clock. It was getting late, and she hadn't eaten dinner yet. She opened the fridge and looked at the sparse contents. She didn't feel like cooking, so she pulled out some leftovers and heated them up in the microwave.
As she sat at the kitchen table eating her dinner, she couldn't help but think about the meeting tomorrow. She had so many questions, so many doubts and fears. But she pushed them down and tried to focus on the positive. This was a chance to change her life, to make something of herself.
After she finished eating, she went to the living room and curled up on the couch, flipping through channels on the television. She wasn't really paying attention; her mind was still fixated on the upcoming meeting.
As she channel surfed, her thoughts turned back to her parents. What would they say if they could see her now? Would they be proud of her, or would they caution her against getting in too deep with someone like Mr.Jeon?
She thought about what her parents would say. They had always been protective of her, and they had always told her to be careful about who she trusted. But they had also always encouraged her to take risks and chase her dreams. She couldn't be sure what they would think of her decision to meet with Mr. Jeon, but she liked to think they would support her.
As the hours ticked by, her eyelids started to droop and her thoughts became hazy and disjointed. She tried to fight off sleep, but the exhaustion was too much. She closed her eyes and dozed off on the couch, the light from the television fluttering over her sleeping form.
She slept restlessly, her dreams a jumble of images and sounds. She saw her parents, their faces smiling and happy. She saw herself, sitting in a grand office, surrounded by success and luxury. And over it all, she heard Mr. Jeon's smooth, cultured voice, whispering promises and promises.
She finally woke up to the sound of her alarm clock, the harsh blaring noise jolting her out of her strange and disjointed dreams. She sat up groggily, feeling disoriented and confused for a moment before remembering the meeting with Mr. Jeon later that day.
She got up and stumbled into the kitchen, rubbing her eyes and trying to shake off the grogginess. She needed coffee, and quickly. She fumbled with the coffee maker, her fingers clumsy and slow, until she finally managed to start a pot brewing.
As the coffee pot rumbled and spat, she went to the bathroom and splashed cold water on her face. The shock of the cold water helped to clear her head a little, and she stared at her reflection in the mirror, trying to make herself looks presentable.
Yn looked tired and disheveled, with dark circles under her eyes and a faint trace of drool at the corner of her mouth. She splashed more cold water on her face, brushed her teeth, and tried to make her hair look somewhat presentable.
The coffee pot beeped, and she stumbled back to the kitchen and poured herself a cup. She took a tentative sip, the hot liquid burning her tongue but also helping to wake her up. She took a few more sips, feeling a little more alert and a little more human.
She glanced at the clock. It was already 10am. She still had plenty of time to get ready for her meeting with Mr. Jeon, but she didn't want to be late. She drank the rest of her coffee and set the mug in the sink, then went back to her room to pick out an outfit.
She rifled through her clothes, trying to find something that was professional and stylish, but not too revealing or flashy. She settled on a simple black dress and a pair of sensible heels, feeling a small burst of satisfaction that she had something decent to wear.
