Y/n's pov

I knew by now everybody would have seen the note. I was on a flight to Jersey thankfully Smarty understood and traded me to Jersey. So that's where I'm headed. Luke said it was perfectly fine that I could live with him and Jack.

"Y/n y/nnnn stop thinking you have to be ready to face the montreal canadiens it will be the first time since ummm well you know." Jack said with concern laced in his voice.

"Jack I'm fine really, let's go to the arena the game starts soon."

"Hey I know things have been tough with social media Luke not having time for you only for his gf when you need him most and then struggling with hockey and stuff but I know you can do this"

"Thanks Jack I know it's been a month since I left but I'm still sad"

"I know"

"And Luke not acting like my best friend, not caring, NOBODY CARING." I screamed tears falling down my face.

"Hey hey hey I know Luke can be an ass and that he moved out but suzy keeps calling me he misses you and I care"

"Thanks J-Jack you should be my new bestie s-since Luke found a n-new one too"

"Ok besties forever?"

"Forever".

Time skip to the faceoff

As I skated to my spot on the ice with my head down. Thankfully I convinced coach to move me down a line for this game so I wasn't playing with suzy, who I've been ignoring slaf, who was my montreal bestie and um cole, who made me leave.

I was not paying attention when the ref told my I was to switch and do the faceoff. I went face to face with somebody that was traded to them after I left.

I heard Jack yell "Let's go y/n"

So obviously after that I couldn't lose the faceoff and I won it and skated off towards Primeau who I was pretty close with back in Montreal. I saw he looked sad to see me and that's when I knew I wouldn't be able to score on him. So I passed it to Dawson who scored. Even though that put us in the lead I was incapable of celebrating instead I skated to Primeau, patted his head and said don't give up yet.

He smiled at me and gave me a small nod looking a little suprised.

So productive finished book 1 and first chapter to book 2.
