During the Interim/Interwar Period, all of the Hidden Villages that participated in the First Shinobi World War engaged in political maneuvering and the formation of alliances. This brief time of peace between the villages was crucial for rebuilding and recovering from the devastation of the First Shinobi World War. Leaders focused on restoring their communities, strengthening their defenses, and training the next generation of shinobi. Despite the surface-level tranquility, underlying tensions and rivalries persisted. This period of relative stability and strategic planning eventually served as a transitional era, setting the stage for the Second Shinobi World War. The alliances formed and the political landscape during this time significantly influenced the dynamics of the subsequent conflicts.
