It was now the last lesson of the day, which was herbology. Elwia tried her best to focus on what Professor Sprout was saying, but her mind was completely occupied with the prank. It was only a matter of 1,5 hours before it would happen.
Elwia swiftly glanced at Malfoy; he seemed to be deep in thought. His blonde hair fell almost perfectly on his face; it was a bit messier than usual, just the way Elwia liked it. Not that she paid any attention to it often, it was something she had merely noticed during her time at Hogwarts.
"Elwia, I don't know how we've never asked this before, but why did you change schools?" Blaise suddenly asked.
"Beauxbatons can't have been that bad, or was it?" Adrian peeped into the conversation.
"Uh, I actually don't know. It wasn't my decision; it was my mother's. At the end of my fifth year, she suddenly told me that I was going to finish school at Hogwarts. Something about learning my identity or some shit, it was weird." Elwia answered with a small laugh, but immediately, something clocked in her head.
'Learning her identity', that was the same thing Professor Lupin had talked about when Elwia was in a coma. Were Elwia's mother and Professor Lupin connected?
"That is kind of weird, but I'm not complaining since we got the pleasure of your presence here." Pansy smiled and wrapped her hand around Elwia's shoulder.
Elwia smiled and rested her head against Pansy's, trying to brush off the realisation of the weird connection.
"Were you popular?" Astoria asked with a giggle.
"I mean, to be honest, yes I was. I had lots of friends since I was the quidditch captain of the Ombrelune house; I played chaser. Ombrelune is kind of similar to Slytherin." Elwia answered, thinking back to her Beauxbaton years.
"Oohh, the tryouts for the new Slytherin chaser are the day after Halloween. The previous chaser resigned to focus on his upcoming O.W.L.s, since he's a fifth-year student." Astoria said with an excited smile.
"Impossible; Slytherin hasn't had a girl in their quidditch team in like forever." Malfoy scoffed and said in a mocking tone, "Besides, I don't think frenchie has it in her."
"Thank you for your kind words, bleach blondie. You will regret that." Elwia sneered, and put her books back in her bag since the lesson was about to end.
Elwia walked up to Harry, Hermione, and Ron.
"Keep your eyes on Malfoy during supper." Elwia said with a smirk.
"Can't wait." The trio said in unison, looking excited.
Elwia was actually thankful for Malfoy's words, because now she was sure she wouldn't feel an ounce of remorse for what she and the twins were about to do.
Elwia's pace was quick as she was walking towards the Slytherin common room. Her mind was repeating the plan like crazy; she couldn't fuck up. Elwia needed to do this. When the girl got to her dorm, she immediately threw her bag on her bed and changed out of her school clothes. Elwia put on a dark green sweater and flared jeans. The girl grabbed herself a smaller bag and put the marauder's map and her wand there; Fred and George would have the rest of the needed items.
Elwia left the girls' dormitory and just as she was about to make a turn towards the staircase, she saw Mattheo walking towards her. Did he want something?
"I know what you're going to do," he said with a neutral tone.
"Excuse me?" Elwia laughed awkwardly, weirded out by his comment.
"You know what I mean." He sighed.
"I really don't, Mattheo. Care to explain?" Elwia insisted, and took a step back from him, her back colliding with the wall.
