I have no idea why I went to her house with muffins of all things. I just knew how much she liked the muffins and it was the first thing that came to my mind. Because after tasting her I dont think I can ever go without her again.

The call I got during our eye contact ruined the moment, but it was important so I had to go. It was Verlice, the big deal I'm close to closing. He needed to go over whether we can keep him from getting company information leaked as it did earlier this morning since he didnt sign with me sooner. The leak honestly worked in my favor because within 2 hours of his call, we signed a contract.

I spent most of the night setting up the arrangments of the Verlice deal and it got my mind off a certain 5,9 brunette. As soon as I got home that night, she hit my mind again like a fly that wouldn't stop buzzing. The way her hips would fit perfectly under my hands, the way she tasted, how sweet she would feel taking me. I dont know whats wrong with me, I've never daydreamed about a woman like this. It needed to stop, it's only 8pm so I went out to a higher end bar.

As soon as I stepped in I saw a pretty brunette -not Scarlett pretty but pretty nonetheless- I walked over and chatted to her which wasnt by any means riveting but it was decent. We talked about our careers, new headlines, and the weather, normal boring things. I was positive both of us were bored out of our minds until she asked "Would you like to go back to my place?" Mentally I wanted to but I physically wasnt the least bit attracted to her.

Shit, Scarlett what'd you do to me.

I made up and excuse and went to walk around when I saw wavy brown hair walking out of a nearby library. No, it couldn't be. Why was Scarlett on the complete opposite of the city studying? At least I hoped she was studying and not anything else.

I was staring, I'm guessing she felt the eyes on her back and turned around catching my gaze. She started walking over with a smile on her face. She got to me and was laughing so hard. "What's so funny?" "I dont know, it's funny to see you coming out of a bar at 9pm." She sounded giggly, to much so. "Well why are you all the way across the city at 9pm?" I gruffly demanded.

"Study date." "With?" I responded almost immediately. "A friend." She responded, shocked by my demanding tone. "Someones a little jealous." She teased poking me.

"And why would I be?" I quipped rudely. She looked offended. No, she looked sad. She started walking away before I caught up and turned her towards me. "Cara, I'm sorry." "No it's okay, there's nothing between us anyways." She shrugged me off. This time I was the one shocked. "Oh, well be on your way then."

She left.

What did I do.
