As I stepped out of the shower I quickly grabbed my towel not allowing the cold air to hit my exposed and warm skin, I stepped into my room and headed for my dresser but before I could make it there I saw my phone light up out of the corner of my eye, I was confused and walked over to check what it was , it was a notification from Instagram 'sam golbach began following you' I smiled as I looked down at the notification. I placed my phone down and went back over for my dresser, I pulled out a baggy black t shirt and threw it on I then grabbed a pair of grey shorts and chucked them on too. I walked back over to my bed and got in it, I then placed my phone on charge and flopped over to fall asleep.
The next morning
It was now the next morning and I had woken up to my little sister begging me to make her some breakfast, I looked at my clock, it was 10 am, I got my lazy ass up and went into the kitchen and made angelica some breakfast. I then went back up to my room, I was lucky it was a Saturday, I layed on my bed and scrolled through my Instagram feed when suddenly I see a little notification next to my DM icon, I tapped the little icon and it took my to my DM's, 'sam golbach' the words on the screen read with more words and a little blue dot underneath 'two new messages' I smiled, confused I clicked onto it "hey, your the girl from yesterday, the girl I accidently bumped into, sorry about that by the way" I smiled as I read the first message "hey I'm going to the beach with my friend colby if you wanted to meet up" I smiled as I read the second message, I then sighed knowing I had to take care of my little sister, "hey, yeah I am, sadly I can't. My mom is an ass and ditched for a week so I have to take care of my little sister angelica for a while otherwise I would, sorryyy!!" I responded to his messages, I smiled as I saw he sent a new one "bring her with! It'll be fun, plus colby is great with kids, how old is she?" He asked, I smiled it was nice how he was trying to make this work "she's 8, I mean if your sure..she is pretty rowdy" I responded making sure it was okay with them I didn't just want to bring her along and then they think I'm weird or something "of course! Meet up at 12?" He said and I smiled "ANGELICAA!! I shouted out for my little sister "whaaat" she sighed and stomped up the stairs as if she was bored "do you wanna go to the beach? A couple of my friends invited us out" I asked her, I saw her face light up and she started to jump around "YES YES YES YES YES YES YESSS!!" She smiled "okay! Well go and get a swimming costume and I dunno some goggles or whatever" I smiled as I watched her pretty much lunge out of the room, I messaged sam "My sister is excited lol, I'll meet you at the beach at 12 :)" I decided to get up and get some things too. I got out a bag and puts one extra clothes in there. I then took the bag with me down to the kitchen to pack some snacks that I know angelica will like, because she's fussy and probably won't eat anything else. 12 pm quickly rolled around and we were ready, I walked out to the car, angelica skipped to the passenger side seat, I went round to the back of the car and opened the trunk, I then put the bags in the back and closed the trunk, I made my way around to the driver side and started the car, I then got driving. Soon enough we arrived at the beach, we walked down to the Sand, I put my sunglasses on, before I knew it sam and colly where walking over to us, "hey girls" sam said trying to sound cool "now that was embarassing" angelica giggled "angelica! Be nice they've just invited us out, if it weren't for them you would be stuck in your room on your switch all day." Angelica rolled her eyes and sam and colly chuckled, i smiled as they brought us over to where their blankets where, sag on their blanket was a few more of their friends "I never quite caught your name by the way" sam turned and asked me "Hannah, my names hannah" I smiled "Hannah this is Jake, Tara, kat, Corey and Devyn and then this is colby" he pointed everyone out and introduced them to me "hi I'm Hannah and this is my bratty little sister angelica, even though her name is angelica she is NOT an angel, she will bite" I smiled as I joked about, angelica rolled her eyes as she started to get ready for swimming "don't go too far angelica and remember if a man comes up to you or tries to do anything. Kick him in the dick and scream" I say to her getting down to her level "got it!" She said as we salute each other and she runs off towards the ocean "that was..umm..okay.." colly said, he had probably over heard what I told angelica but I wasn't bothered she had to protect herself one way or another, besides you gotta teach em young how to protect themselves or they won't learn, I sat down as I watched angelica as she splashed around in the ocean staying close to the shore but being deep enough to have fun. After a while she came over to me "Mmm..hungry..snacks please" angelica asked "sit down and ill give you a snack angelica" I said as she sat down on the blanket with her legs crossed, I dug through the bag and pulled out some mini pretzels in little crisps bags. I handed her a bag of mini pretzels "go nuts kid" I say and let her rampage it out on the pretzels, the next time I looked over at her she had finished them, "is there any mini oreos in there" she asked nicely so i nodded and dug them out of the bag, I handed her the small bag of mini oreos.
