"Too fancy. Too short. Too red. Too white. Too small. Too big. Too ehh. Ugh I can't find anything !" I said to myself while flicking threw all my dresses in my wardrobe. See Daniel asked me on a date and I have nothing in my wardrobe suitable ! I don't even know what we are doing which makes it harder and it's my first date with him...
I've had a really massive crush on him but his ex-girlfriend got in the way. I thought he only liked me as a friend but I guess I was wrong. I just don't want to disappoint him.
Maybe I should phone him...I might sound desperate though. But before I knew it I was dealing his number. Ring ring. Ring ring. Ri-
"Hey Em, are you okay ?" Daniel asked concerned which made a smile creep into my lips.
"No, I don't know what to wear..." I confessed shyly
"Em, I don't mind what you wear. You will always be beautiful no matter what you wear" he says which made me blush.
"Aww thanks, that was so sweet. But still, I just don't know what to wear. Wait what are you wearing ?" I asked
"It's a surprise" I could just feel him smirking from the other side of the line..."just wear anything, I love you bye !" He quickly hang up after that...I couldn't tell him I loved him back.
15 minutes later
I decided on an outfit, it's a white summer dress and I'm wearing my white converse with it. I curled my hair and pinned some of my hair back.
Ding dong
Daniel ! I sprinted down the stairs only to run right into the door !
"Owww !" I screamed.
"Em are you okay !" Daniel said as he opened the front door.
"Yeah" I said as I tried to rub the pain away from my head.
"You sure ?" He asked.
"Yeah just a little bump to the head" I said as I stood up.
"How many fingers am I holding up" he asked as he put 3 fingers up.
"2" I lied.
"Oh no ! Okay-" I cut him off.
"I'm kidding, 3" I giggled.
"Thank goodness for that ! So are you ready ?" He sighed.
"Yep, you look very handsome as usual"i said. Daniel was wearing a white button up shirt and red shorts with white converse...matching converse !
"Thank you, you look stunning as usual" he said as he gave me a hug
"thank you, let us go" I chuckled as we held hands and walked off to this mysterious date.
"Okay I need you to trust me, I need to put a blind fold over your eyes"
"Fine" i sighed. He gently put the blind fold over my eyes. He then wrapped his arm tightly round my waist.
"Your safe, okay ?" He assured.
"Okay"
After 5 minutes we stopped.
"Okay are you ready ?" Daniel asked while holding the knot at the back of the blind fold.
"Yes" I said, he then pulled the knot and revealed the dock, it had scented candles, lights and a table with plates, wine glasses, a bottle of non alcoholic wine and dishes. Wow.
"This is...beautiful" I said lost for words. He smiled.
"I'm glad you think that" he said as he slowly started leaning in and before I knew it...his lips were on mine. We slowly broke apart and I had the biggest grin on my face ! Oh my god ! Stop smiling Emma !!! Your embarrassing yourself Emma ! But I just couldn't...
"I love your smile" he slightly chuckled...thank god for that !
We sat at the table and Daniel revealed the main dish..... Awwww heart shaped pizza !
We ate our food and desert which was chocolate strawberries.
"Thank you so much for all of this, it's amazing" I smiled as we sat at the edge of the dock looking into the water.
"No problem, it was my pleasure. I will do anything to see that smile" he smiled.
"I love you" I said seriously.
"I love you too" he said.
